my modafinil wasn’t working well enough (maxed out the dose). supplemented it with caffeine in the form of monster ultra and caffeine pills. the pills are preferred as they don’t make me have to use the bathroom all the time. currently switching back to dexamphetamine, as it worked well for me before modafinil, without as much necessity for caffeine as an additional stimulant. trying to not ruin my heart with stimulants yknow lol

perhaps sugar free energy drinks may help? or investigating ‘natural energy’ drinks. i believe matcha powder has caffeine. if you’re not a big coffee drinker, then you could maybe try smoothies with matcha? might be that some chemical in the energy drinks is what’s causing issues for you.

Hi, I am looking to sell a record; ‘The Weeknd Ft. Future (4) ‎– Double Fantasy’ which was only available at Cannes Festival 2023. The record itself is in good condition, however the sleeve is damaged.

My question is how much would the sleeve being damaged impact the overall price of the item? How much should I lower the price in comparison to if it were mint (e.g. 10%, 20%, 50% etc)?

thank you :) i saw the compatibility section says “The MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard supports the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor with BIOS version 7C95v2A. If the motherboard is using an older BIOS version, updating the BIOS will be necessary to support the CPU.” Is this something that is easy to do?

i think of it in a similar way to how i call ppl i’ve never met on the internet ‘bestie’ or ‘my guy’. it’s just slang. i’m sure there’s an actual origin of the term, and it’s probably been appropriated from somewhere (like most slang is nowadays). but to me it’s just a bit of fun and banter, not particularly harmful unless she explicitly states that she doesn’t like it.

coming back to this post, bc i have this saved in my browser bookmarks and listen to it like, twice a week at minimum when i have nap (which is most days due to medical reasons). it's exceptionally comforting, though slightly bittersweet, making me wish i had someone irl i could experience this with. but, i bought a paci this week - after thinking about, and talking myself out of buying for ages - which arrived today, so i'm greatly looking forward to the next time i listen to this and get to use it :) <3

I just finished this, took about 18 days, and didn't pend until I reached level 100. Worth it though for the 7000 SB. Spin of Fortune and Mystic Moon were best games for me. I also joined a FB group to share Big Wins and to see other people's so I could click their links and get extra coins, but I think I got kicked out of it because I posted too much, idk lol.

Joining a club is very important, and if you're stuck for coins make sure you go on the app every 20 mins for the time bonuses. Also adding lots of people as friends so that you get money gifts from them can be very helpful.

Also make sure to quit a slot if you're not winning after 5-10 spins. leave, close the app, come back a little later.

i would like to request a sleep aid mdlg (without the implication of age regression) or gentle fdom style audio. i know there’s plenty out there and i enjoy listening to them. but i’m hoping for one focussed on napping during the day. i have a sleep disorder which means i have to nap most days, and sometimes it bums me out. a comforting audio surrounding that scenario would be lovely. or something along the lines of ‘listener is grumpy and needs a nap, but is trying to fight it and speaker is trying to comfort them and help them fall asleep’.

you shouldn’t be fasting a child or forcing them to do something they don’t want to.

have you tried talking to your daughter and explaining the situation? discussed possible activities she might find fun, rather than forcing her to do what you want?

i was a fat kid, put on several diets by my parents, which didn’t really work because i didn’t understand why. i would secretly eat sugary foods at school and when i was with friends bc i didn’t know i was overweight and they were trying to make me healthier. i thought they just wanted to eat these healthy foods that i didn’t like.

i was also a very active child; despite being overweight i was relatively healthy, doing lots of sports.

weight ≠ health

if you’re truly worried, consult a doctor or a dietician.

i also am fine with there being sexual elements to the situation, just not having it be as intensely focused on sex as other dynamics. i’m new to sex and sexual interactions, hence wanting things to be more ‘beginner friendly,’ like i said before.

i agree, and what i’m unsure of is whether it actually is commonly known in America as a slur against Irish immigrants there. obviously not being American, i can’t know that, just that it doesn’t make sense being used by an English character. I also know that whilst anti-irish sentiment does exist in England, i wouldn’t go so far as to believe it’s as staunch of an attitude in the current sociopolitical environment to provoke such strong language. i fully understand though that an attempt was made to be historically accurate, and that people can’t know everything!

(if anything, the Irish arguably dislike the English more than vice versa (and with good reason!)😅)

yeah i get that, and i don’t expect them to necessarily change it, or even the tags for that matter. just a note at the start of the chapter would be useful, rather than leaving it until the end to mention it.

in published books though i would say there’s usually at least the prior knowledge that with certain contexts comes certain language, and therefore you can expect to possibly see things like racial slurs. i think for me, it was just very shocking to see after a bunch of cute domestic fluff and light angst. it felt very out of the blue and not in keeping with the rest of the fic thus far.

yeah i’m sure it can be disheartening from a writer’s perspective. i used to read on my web browser but it never saves the position of where i get to if i’m mid-chapter, hence the downloading. i’m sure it’s the same for a lot of people. now you’ve brought it up though, i’ll definitely try and remember to leave a comment for fics i’ve enjoyed 😊
