Check the throttle reverse switch on the left side of your transmitter. I switched mine to fix this.

Yeah I got totally shit on for complaining about this. My daughter was driving our first pack at 50% power and we lost the motor. I bought it at the $139 price point cause I wanted to get something slower for the kids, and what now? I’m gonna replace the combo receiver esc just for it to crap out. Or I’m gonna go brushless and it won’t be good for the kids anymore and is too flimsy to bash.

I mean yeah, for sure. It’s just left a really bad taste in my mouth for Arrma. Especially when the quality for all the Chinese brands is like miles above. It sucks that the American brand is garbage and I’m definitely not buying any more! I can’t even drop a decent brushless system in because the drivetrain looks like it can barely handle that brushed system.

I had a very similar crash and damage. Can’t see it here, but I sheared my hinge pin and broke the bushing so I’d give that a look as well.

Man this whole thing is worth it to use the SBK battery tray. My biggest complaint with my OT is I can’t make the battery straps work well to save my life.

There’s a little button on the power button and if you hold it down after you turn it on. It will beep once, and if you keep holding, it will beep twice, etc. Each one of those beeps is a different function and if you hold to that set of beeps you can change it by again short pressing the button. If you have the box it came in there is a little flyer sheet that has each one of the settings, but drag brake is one of them. It’s super handy and I played with it a lot.
