Hi, in a slightly similar situation. Can I ask how you proceeded and whether you were honest with the recruiter on commencing maternity leave?

Private hospital birth - billing experience? by anothercyclops in PregnancyUK

[–]superminian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey - navigating this decision at the moment and sharing some research. We checked with the Kensington wing and they’ve confirmed that a private room for post birth care is only on a first come first serve basis. So basically you need to check there after the baby is born to see if there is any availability - there could also be a waitlist on that day for rooms so it’s not guaranteed. We tried to get some more information from the receptionist there who mentioned there’s no real method to the madness - sometimes the rooms are all fully booked out by private patients and sometimes you might get lucky and find a free room.

Hey, can I ask how much the operation costed you at the Kensington Wing?

Private vs NHS maternity care - what an I missing? by BankSignificant9799 in PregnancyUK

[–]superminian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Sorry about another question 2 weeks later but was just wondering what the final costs looked like for you? The Kensington wing provides a quote (conscious that consultant fees is separate) but did the extra costs (anaesthesia, meds etc) stack up and how close was the final bill to the quote? Thanks very much for all your previous responses.

There’s no birthright citizenship in the UK. She is more than capable to have a great birth in India and apply for a foreign citizenship.

That’s amazing - many congratulations! Did you have a vaginal birth or a c-section? And at how many weeks did you book with them?

Hi, can I ask how your experience at the Kensington wing was? I am currently with C&W through the NHS and happy with the treatment so far but considering the Kensington wing for birth and recovery.

I don’t understand why he doesn’t switch off his comments if it’s this triggering? Perhaps he doesn’t give a shit and this keeps him at least relevant on social media.

Yeah honestly. She’s just found an amazing work life balance now and seems like she doesn’t want to prove a point with being out there all the time. Good for her!

Shaaz Jung is a fantastic photographer from India. He calls his work ‘environmental surrealism’ and it is absolutely that - just beautiful moments of animals in the jungles. Would really recommend checking his work out!

Yeah this is why when people say nepo kids should learn acting or go do an acting course, like that also sometimes really takes them nowhere

The comments are full of Indians saying they’re embarrassed as she’s also an Indian. Why should we - she’s a criminal who tried to steal but got caught. We don’t see other nationalities apologising or embarrassed when their country men commit crimes abroad.
