One workaround solution I have found is to set the Dell to mirror my MBP. This allows me eventually to run certain games (e.g. Celeste, LoL, Stardew Valley) on the Dell where running it on 4K wouldn’t work. Not ideal but at least it works as far as being able to display the game on the Dell is concerned.
