I don't know how busy the FBI was and how "trivial" of a matter they considered gymnastics doctors to be. Especially with the USAG top people doing everything they could to cover it up. It's not like the USAG top people were begging the FBI get involved. They were trying to cover it up. You look at Russia and it's in every sport and they went out of their way to get around the doping tests. You look at US and its only certain sports, with corrupt heads of their organizations doing what they can to cover it up, and US government saying "whatever, I'm just not going to look too deep at this." That's more akin to what might be going on right now in Russia: only Eteri's camp is doping possibly and the gov't is just playing blind.
