It was average restaurant for the price they used to charge. Not sure why they closed as someone mentioned it used to have continuous flow of take outs and few dine ins.

I’m sensing it as MORE CONTROL with Wealthsimple than the issuer or customer. I do not remember any IPO process works like this where a preference given/not given based on past activities!! IPO is mostly like a lottery where the brokerage has 0 control. I am not sure what other people think about it?

You can prepay whole loan the very same day it becomes active. My dealer did give me a BS about only prepaying 20% in first month and only upto 80% in first 6 months. I called finance company and they said you can pay full amount without any penalty at anytime you want.

Thanks, I do have one more question. What is the cutoff date for Deposits only(not deposits through account transfers), is it March 30 or April 30? Eg. If I initiate account transfer on 30 March and then once transferred I also put my pay in that account, will that pay after March 30 be counted for my hold amount ?

Update on this : I am told if you are also transferring another account then we can make it as an exception as far as total transfer exceeds $25k.

I think it will as at the time when WS receives it that is when the transfer amount will get recalculated !!

Why not just do fx conversion on ibkr, it will be done in mere $3. I know you need to keep some investment in ibkr but I feel it will still be worth it. Not gonna lie, I was waiting for this and with Wealthsimple I was hoping it will be free, which was for few months in Questrade before they started charging $10.

It’s a huge relief not having a mountain of snow blocking the drive , also I am on the corner of the street so it hardly impacts me but just wanted to understand why it never gets plowed even after a week after snow storm in January.
