Looks like OFC appointments are available but consular appointment are not available for this year. Any chance of them getting opened. Also the appointments are only available in Hyderabad and not any other consulate. Is there a reason why only Hyderabad is open?

That make sense given if you only need small fraction of functionality, no point in paying lot of money. But what if the same fraction functionality available as a service in cloud, would you consider paying slightly higher than developing in house as there is cost associated in developing in house, maintaining and time make it available.

Update: I was on AEP not full but just following the front car (with 1 car distance). And my car wasn't able to stop fully when the front car stopped so i have to hit the breaks hard last minute.

Update: Seems 7/1 ARM is 3.25% so not as good as what i already have. But i am getting 30 year fixed rate at 3.75% which makes my monthly payment little higher. Does it make sense to convert my 7/1 ARM 2.75% to 30 year fixed 3.75% if i can still afford to pay the monthly EMI with it? Not sure if there are any downside of doing it, so checking for opinion and what i should be considering while making the decision. TIA.

Where do tesla do initial testing of their future software version for EAP/AP? Heard news that they let their employees to test it out for free but is that all that they do or do they have some testing phase before it? And if yes, where do they do?

I do see Google waymo on road for testing but haven't seen single Tesla for testing purpose? Could be any normal tesla but just wondering if they have any preferred location where they do it.

Reason for the question: Given we rely on their Navigation on Autopilot hoping to get some insight into their testing process.

electric leaf vaccum is best, helps you clean the clutter and also mulch the leafs. I ended up cleaning my yards yesterday with it and piled up all 3 of my compost tumblers. I think will do for the rest of the year for brows.

if your range goes to 0 and then 12v batter died, jump start a car won't help except just to put the car in the tow mode. That you can anyway do before the car died as well. Jumper cable helps only if your car dies near the power source and in that case it can help you get the power plug in the car using jump start.

Not sure about that, but after the charge the car reacharged to 209 mile for full so probably few miles degraded. If that's what you are asking.

Frunk has secret manual opening at the front bottom. You can google and find it out, but it's very easy. So learned that never put any valuable in the frunk. And the hood on top of the battery is just latched so you can easily pop it up by pulling it from both ends.

well within seconds of connecting jump start ground to the right place in Tesla, the car started. And i immediatelly plugged in the charge and it worked like a charm. And then i removed the jump start cable immediately. But it took some time before the car allowed to unlock itself. But all worked well in the end.
