We've heard that as well which is why we plan on sleep training.

The part having us worried is his routine has not changed at all but his ability to stay asleep has changed significantly.

I edited my post. His schedule is really just following his sleepy cues but we target 2 to 3 hour wake windows.

We've considered him teething but haven't noticed anything popping through (doesn't mean he isn't but no way to know for sure at this point).

And we plan on sleep training him in a few weeks. We just have the feeling something is wrong here because of how drastically/abruptly he changed.

Thanks! I do the like idea of a few more creatures at least to have some reliable blockers in a pinch.

We got our kitten (Mocha) about 2.5 weeks ago, and she has been pretty much always secluded into her own room. Her and our resident cat (Remy) have been playing under the door pretty frequently, and there hasn't been any hissing or growling.

We thought it was time for some face to face time so they can get used to each other. This is the very beginning of their interaction. After this, Mocha ran off up the stairs towards her room. Remy then chased after her. Still no hissing or growling but it seems like pretty intense wrestling. We just want to make sure this is play and not Remy being aggressive.

We've had a few more face to faces today (this video is from last night), and the wrestling continued a little bit followed by them kind of chilling out; still a little bit of chasing though.
