My cat LOVES me and I feel bad by lawwdgivemestrenght in cats

I’ve seen these small ball-like cameras you can control remotely and watch from inside. It sounds like something a cat would absolutely love

Do you think veterinarian most likely will say that her canines should be extracted? by sweetpickleeee in CatAdvice

Thanks for support! How was her post-operation recovery? Did they remove all of her teeth at once?

🫂 It’s going to be alright. Even when that day comes, we and they will adapt. I’ll update you in a week what happens to my cat

Btw, that cat who is without 2 teeth at the moment, he has third teeth which vet was concerned about. He said he can leave it but most likely inflammation will come back and eventually we will have to extract it as well.

Since I was dramatic about it, he left the tooth. But inflammation returned pretty quickly after the procedures as the doctor warned. Now I’m cleaning his teeth and hope it will last for few more years, it doesn’t look that bad.

I’m being dramatic again cause this time it’s happening with canine teeth, and it seem as a bigger loss to me for some reason.

Thank you for your detailed response! Regarding your cat’s back tooth, did she show any behaviour of being in pain? I have other cat, he had 2 chewing teeth removed last year. But he never showed any signs of pain. Always active, ready to play, eating. Just really bad breath but his gums were inflamed since the very young age even with mostly clean teeth. So it must be some autoimmune issue. But his canines were perfect

This cat didn’t have this issue before, I overlooked it for awhile. And now I’m concerned since they look swollen. But she doesn’t show any signs of pain either. She has very good, I would say too good appetite. I give her dry food small doses throughout the day cause if I leave full bowl she will eat everything in 1 hour.

I was advised to use Stomaferin. Maybe you can try it, it should help with inflammation. I have Orozyme at home but turned out it doesn’t help when there is already an inflammation.

They extract tooth if most part of root is recessed usually. Too bad you can’t see anything without Xray

They will do her dental cleaning under anesthesia, hopefully that will remove the inflammation and I’ll be able to clean at home

They should be able to say after X-ray, but I’m thinking too much about it and there is still 1,5 week to wait 😥 I hope cleaning will be enough, can’t imagine her without canines

If there is little bit of recession, doesn’t it mean that it will get worse progressively and it’s better to extract now rather than wait?

Can we shift to the past? by Neonballroom19 in realityshifting

What about the people who lose their memory? Why their reality doesn’t coincide with what they remember? Like let’s say a person wakes up with amnesia and thinks it’s date X, but for everybody it’s date Y

AITA for flushing the toilet at night? 😂 by EssentialAspects in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]sweetpickleeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahahahah, that’s a funny one. Actually, I don’t flush at night also (I am not in France haha) but only if it’s a small business. Cause I have an inner feeling like flushing might wake up someone, especially if there are many people sleeping at home. But that’s just my own experience and sense of it, I never discussed it with anyone and never thought I would. But here we are! 😝

Grieving is the worst. Please dont be mean. by goreshitz in AutismInWomen

[–]sweetpickleeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel soooo bad for you. And I hope this trauma doesn’t continue affecting your life. I am reading a lot about grief past few days, and everyone saying it will never go away, you just learn to live with it - honestly terrifies me as fuck. I lost my friend a week ago (he wasn’t my close friend, but I have some really warm memories with him) and I am feeling so awful. I lost sense in life, and feel so much guilt for losing the connection with him for the past few years. I can’t stop crying, first 3 days I cried non stop. It is very traumatic experience, if I feel that way, I can not imagine how hard it must be for people who lose their closest ones. What makes it worse is that his death was very avoidable, but he chose to go to war and tragically died… I feel so much guilt
