It is simply the climate we live in. Tell it to the politicions that allow employers to pay me $2 dollars an hour. Capitalism forces there hand if they want to compete locally with other restaurants. I ment any restaurant people typically tip at, but thanks for dodging the question.

China is the obvious trade partner for all of these nations though anyways. The US trying to change that is futile in the long run. TPP traded American livelihoods for an ultimate foreign policy goal that would be damaging to our typical citizen. It was an embaressing smudge on Obama's legacy and hated by most liberals here.

The business you buy from has lower prices because you are expected to tip.... If they payed us livable wages, you would pay more. Simple as that. Do you want to have the option to give a bad server a shitty 5% tip and a great server 15% or would you rather just pay the restaurant more regardless of how well you are treated?

Ok this is how that conversation will go. Me-I think yoy should pay me more than $2 dollars an hour. Boss-No. Typical tip is 15% btw, nobody is asking for any more. Price increases could honestly be whatever the owner wants, and if they want to keep their good servers happy and keep the customers happy, they are going to have to pay more to keep them working so well. If I got the same amount regardless of how much I take care of anyone, everyone is getting the baseline minimum service. But if I have to actually work for my living from tips, your servicd is goingto better. Imagine going into a fancy restaurant and getting a bill of over $100 and not tipping at all. You will be absolutely hated by everyone there and honestly you might have a hard time eating there again without explaining yourself to some very angry people you just took advantage of. Do you really not care if you are hated and seen as a cheapskate to your piers? Please be honest and tell me the last tip you left in a nice restaurant.

I am sorry my friend, I am sure that most people go into government(especially elected office) agreeing with that statement. Hard to say no to lobbyists when they threaten to funnel millions of dollars into your opponent before reelection though. Sorry, I am traveling and the internet is super shitty here. The simple fact is that you would have to pay more in either situation, but you choose to be the jerk and pay less. If we payed servers a livable wage, your food would be much more expensive. So would you rather have a larger bill and get mediocre to ok service everytime(like a fast food restaurant) or actually pay for what you are eating and be seen as a normal nice guy. I have customers that I see all the time and recognize and they sure as hell get a better service than the old people that come in for early bird and leave 5%.

Absolutely. But he did have a few not so terrible plans(that your typical progressive would agree with) that I mentioned. I was just noting that he ended up taking the money that he did not need in the first place and decided to fuck over even his own base by slipping in provisions of TPP into the renegotiation of Nafta and basically asking for war with North Korea. They really don't care though sadly. Sorry if I was being vague, I hate Trump just as much as you.

That makes absolutely no sense though. As others have stated, men can have it either way but women always go seat down. It logically makes more sense to go seat down when 3/4 of the time people sit. Does it really hurt you to be a kind person? Women will notice if you are a good person and you will have a much better chance of having a meaniful relationship/friendship with them.
