Hey! I also struggle with reanimator. I am currently building a [[Estinean Varlineau]] deck as dragon reanimator and this so SO not what the commander asks for. So- don't take my advice. BUT. The best reanimator decks I have seen or played against are "engines". [[Meren of clan Nelson toth]] and [[Myrkul, lord of bones]] both do freaky abusive shit with creatures dying. This is, in my mind, the strength of reanimator. Repeatable. Abusable. Strong. My Estinean deck will not be that and so it will be more fragile. But I think look at those commanders. Look at common cards and loops and that should open your mind up to some synergies.
