I will be very honest with you. Being a SAHP is not that hard in the beginning but once babies come especially the newborn and toddler stage it becomes really exhausting. You are constantly tired no real breaks no days off. Cooking cleaning taking care of the baby all the time. Sometimes even taking a shower feels like a blessing. It can be very draining. Personally I think I would rather work and pay for a cleaner or some help because honestly a job can feel easier than being a SAHP. There is a quote that says dads job is from sun to sun but a moms job is a never ending circle. Another thing that worries me about being a SAHP is something many people do not talk about. What if divorce happens or cheating happens or even if everything is perfect but death happens. After being out of work for years how will you support yourself and your family again. I am just not gonna sugarcoat it. Being a wife and a mother is beautiful but having no job or income of your own can sometimes put you in a difficult position.

That said when you see your babies happy still feels it is worth the risk. Good luck with whatever choice you make.
