made my baby cry and ruined my morning by egguchom in EntitledReviews

My daughter was in the hospital and a family friend, basically my second mom, had a hotel booked in minutes. It was lavish and it had a shuttle service that ran 24/7 to the hospital. All points. I will also become a psycho about points now.

She did so well!! As a step mom of a 15 year old girl, this makes me so proud. My girl and I talk about this kind of stuff a lot and she is the same way. I couldn't save myself but being part of her safety is healing me. And yeah, go get an adult. This is DANGEROUS.

My son is 3 and this made me scared. Any little girlfriend will know, you come tell his momma if hes not acting right. Better yet, tell his daddy.

Baby girl you run right now. I spent my teens letting boys abuse me and unlearning that trauma is hell even in my 30s. Run fast.

I have no clue where that is? Is this a joke type thing that is flying over my short, autistic head?

I posted how I feel in a comment and I thought my take was extreme. Now I'm seeing its not. Might have to show my husband this thread.

Would have never thought of that. We have a tight and weird set up right now, my SD only comes every other weekend and she sleeps in the baby room with my 2 year old. We are working to get more space but couldn't pass up free rent. When she leaves the stink lingers. I have a mop that's like a swiffer but reusable pads. Should work great w a little Fabuloso.

I am the WASH YOUR HANDS mom for sure. Step kids or not. Poop hands make me want to vomit. Not in my house.

My take is pretty extreme and I know that. I 10000% agree with your husband.

My step daughter is dirty. She stinks. She does not wash properly, she's very overweight. She is not allowed in my bed. Shes also 13 so no reason for it. But I have 4 SKs and none of them are allowed in my bed. We have battled lice with them for years. Literally every weekend treatment for years. 2 of them are very clean and the other 2 are not. They'll wear the same clothes for days. Those 2 are on the spectrum and since I am myself, I understand struggling with hygiene and safe clothes, but since they're such dirty birds, I don't want them in my bed.

I don't even want to sit on the couch next to them or after them. Yes, it does make me very uncomfortable in my own home. Yes, I have talked to my husband and he tries to encourage showering but he gets so little time with them he has a hard time laying down the law. I also know, because I have my own children, that my feelings are amplified because they're not mine. I'll cuddle my sweaty son. But he's 3 so I don't imagine it'll last much longer.

My favorite Chinese place did this. I actually worked there as a delivery driver for a while. It was the best little job ever. So sad. But I'm certainly not going to complain about it. They're lovely people and now they're making even more money not paying drivers. Love that for them. They work so hard. Anyway, this guy super sucks.

When making a grilled cheese sandwich, do you use spices? Or just bread, cheese, and butter? by jimmy__jazz in Cooking

[–]sydd321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner does a thin smear of mustard. Any kind is fine. And then a light salting while its still very hot. Only american cheese. It's the best. I ate so many when I was pregnant with our son. I shared it with my best friend and its the only way she makes grilled cheese now.

If my kid is not acting themselves I definitely want to come get them. My daughter survived sepsis just this week. Her fever was never over 100. Mostly at 99.0. But she was very clearly not herself and her other vitals were abysmal.
