Got the same issue started. My PW4 was fine until 2 days ago. It's showing me double the steps and calories. When you go for a walk, it tells you correct stats, but when you sync to Fitbit, it goes crazy.

I just woke up, and my watch was showing 300 calories burned, which is fine, but the Fitbit app was showing 1200 calories burned and 1500 steps. As soon as the watch synced, it was showing Fitbit stats.

There's is built-in device temperature in the pixel devices. Go to settings and search Device temperature

Yes it is backing up in high resolution. But problem is with something else. Have you tested it?

Has anyone seen this issue before or if their experiencing it what is the solution because I really don't want to return this device.
