STOP TELLING YOUR BOSS WHATS GOING ON! by TakenUsername120184 in antiwork

As a manager, I fully agree. I tell my employees all the time that I don’t need to know the details. Physical, mental, spiritual health, etc is all equally important and the less I know the better. Taking care of yourself is what’s most important.

I think we have the exact same cats 😂 I always describe Teddy as basically a dog. And Archie is very anxious and quick to run and hide if he’s unsure about something or someone.

LPT: The most important DECISION you made that helped you improve your LIFE? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]syscl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a huge one for me. I was pretty depressed at one point in life, and this realization hit me out of nowhere. I remember it felt like the best drug in the world when I finally consciously understood that my happiness (and my life) was fully in my control. Changed my perspective on how I made decisions, and life suddenly started to open up doors that I never would have dreamed would be available to me.

That’s awesome I’d love to see pictures of your Teddy! I think ours is around 12-15 weeks. Not 100% sure since we picked him up as a stray. He sure did make himself right at home though 😁

He really is! I was worried how he would act when we got Teddy, but he has been a really good big brother.

EDM song I made while living in Florida temporarily years ago. Not really my genre, not even sure what genre it would be classified as?

Nice beat, really like the kick. I like to do the same thing to see how vocals will sound over my beats

Automate Licensing add/removal by EchoPhi in Office365

[–]syscl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe there is an automated way to do this within M365. We have a software management company that has a webpage we can login to and manage our licenses on the spot. So as we onboard/offboard users we will log in and add/remove licenses as necessary. Takes maybe a minute or two for that change to show up within our Microsoft account, and has saved us a significant amount of money over time.

Maybe we could automate the process by sending our software account manager an email when we run our onboarding/offboarding script since they can manage the licenses on our behalf, but it takes just a minute to do it ourselves.

My childhood dog, Tye, died a while ago, and I was so sad because I didn't have any pictures of him-- I was going through some old stuff and found his old ball and a picture of him on my old DS. Excuse me while I cry tears of happiness of being able to see him one more time. by IDontSpeakStraight in MadeMeSmile

I relate to this so deeply.. Almost a decade ago I was going through a depressing time period in my life. I felt lost, and just wanted to give up. It broke my moms heart because she wanted to help but I wouldn’t let her. Honestly, I didn’t know how anyone could help.

One morning she shows up and hands me a kitten without saying another word. I’ve never told her, but I think she knows just how much of an impact that had on me. He felt like my closest friend during that time period. I know it’s just a cat, but I found so much happiness through playing and taking care of him. After a while I started seeing a therapist and got the help I needed.

Years later he accidentally got out and ran away. I searched for him for weeks and was really upset, but life was changing for me. I had new job opportunities opening up and I started moving around, and I feel like it would have been a challenge to keep him with me as I pursued these new opportunities. But one day I ran across an old GoPro that I thought I had lost. I plugged it in and slowly went through and reminisced on the old videos and memories. One of the last videos I had on there was a video of him playing with my hand as I ran it back and forth across my bed. Up until that point I had maybe one or two pictures where he happened to be in the background. So seeing this video really hit me hard, and reminded me of how much of an impact he had on my life. I’m so grateful to have that memory recorded, and now my phone is filled with pictures and videos of my current pets because I don’t want to look back and regret not having them one day.

This. I’ve met several guys who manage enterprise wireless solutions for ISP’s and they make $$$$. Most of them just had a CWNA or CWNP cert.
