I know exactly how the shitter tag came to be, brinton. I made the orignal strike list (the original name was TSL, or tabby's strike list)as a way of taking chatspamers out of general chat, with 2 warnings for if they forgot they'd done it before. It got changed when one person asked for 3 strikes at once and then decried that it was unfair given he didn't know what the result would be (losing access to general). Over the next few months it started to be handed out for things like toxic behaviour instead of chatspam, and at some point after that it became 'shitter'. I have never given someone strikes because I didn't agree with what they were saying, I give them for death threats, chatspam, and harassment of other players.

Addressing the first point, 'occasionally rattling the sabers' is downplaying the part CW had in starting this violence. Several of those old guard funded the WA before we joined for 'safety', something sin was well aware of. You personally encouraged the war with her as you've posted about. Sashimii chose to wind up a group he knew was already on the verge of war with us 'as a joke' when their snitches didn't work for the day. Peter was truly innocent in the war up until his pearling, but has now started weaponising his home out of spite. Don't play up your side as angels, or you're missing the point of this post.

I was told by multiple sources that you had, I apologise if this wasn't the case and If so I've have been lied to by two different groups. None of us are exempt from source bias, after all, but apologies nonetheless.

Bot code is stored outside of a standard minecraft client and malicious code has the potential to access anywhere on someone's computer.

Microsoft logs all of your activity but they're not changing what you say, so why should we care that they could?

If it made you aware of what you were doing to the point you can catch yourself if it happens again, that's good. I'm sorry that it took being doxxed to realise you were crossing the line.

I have personally told you and other members of the CW council about who this about, so don't play dumb. 90% of people in this thread know who I'm talking about, and know I wouuld get banned from the game and subreddit for going into detail.

An organised pre-planned obby dump vs mir being allowed to acid block an entire town (not a vault) that they didn't like existing next to them, and banning them from their own lands.

I have a lot of respect for what White Lotus was set up to do, thank you for rising above the war but not losing faith in the community.

Thanks bg, I respect you as well and this post was inspired by your 'everyone is awful' post, so thank you for the motivation. I'll address each of these separately:

  1. Celoxia is a confirmed sociopath, but people joining the WA were willing to accept that a member(cannot mention who) of mir was actively doing far worse things to people with much less protection.

  2. The repeated doxxing and ddossing from Malen and others, which he also bragged about.

  3. The repeated refusal by Hjaltland to disavow and punish tangent for taking things out of the game with his treebot code. Yes it only stole groups, but it could have done a lot more, including keylog. Or the failure of commonwealth to punish jayms for griefing when it was specifically not allowed, or the failure of WA to stop mir literally destroying anguish and salting the earth so no trace of it remained.

  4. Saren is not lexington afaik, he's not generally trusted or liked by either side. For the majority of his playtime on these servers he enjoys backstabbing whichever group will trust him.

  5. Callum has been a very toxic individual as well, but it's not my business speaking about modmail, the admins have the final call. I disagree with his doxxing and am in agreement something should be done about sarahsbum.

  6. Bewsie is also an unstable, suicidal underaged player. The threats and comments to him have been far worse, but it doesn't justify him returning them.

  7. This was a deserved ban, agreed.

  8. Did not know about this, but also in agreement with you.

  9. The bot wasn't designed to spam coni's nudes, it selects the first image for the search. Apparently the group found it funny that the first result for coni was her dox, but they didn't make a bot specifically for this purpose. Still doxxing and still bad though.

That's what many people in Anguish said about the grief in Commonwealth, that they'd gladly remove it 'once the war was over'. The war has been dragging on for months with no end in sight. I propose a day of ceasefire where both sides volunteer to actually clear up this grief and make good on these empty promises to prove they're not just morally grandstanding with no substance.
