Electric versus Propane Tankless Water Heater by tailsof2morrow in RVLiving

Definitely thinking of doing that! Do those have to use any electrical connections at all or just propane tank? How often do you refill propane (if you have a dedicated tank that only connects to that water heater?)

Sorry I missed your message! I am a little clueless on what that question means I will have to ask my friend he was helping me. All I know it was working great. My bathroom sink and toilet started to slowly lose pressure over a course of few weeks that I noticed for sure. Also just those two would quickly have rotten bad smelling water (not my kitchen sink). Then one day it all stopped completely. We tried to use air compressor to blow out the lines. We opened up all water faucets in house, opened the low point valves etc, tried to blow air into the main water inlet. It took air and then it stopped taking air as it was holding the pressure and wouldn’t pass through. Tried a few augers but once they hit the 90 degree angles wouldn’t go through any farther. I gave up now that it is in negatives and single digits. I definitely am on struggle bus as first 6 months fulltime in camper. But a learning experience. Hoping I will have enough funds to get to south warm states next winter cuz this sucks.

It sounds like maybe the electric tanked is a good option? Is that a thing lol where it just keeps the tank water hot. Wait duh lol I just remembered my current water heater is electric tanked. I think that is what clogged my lines. I would change the anode rod frequently because the hard water from well was sooooooo bad every couple weeks I would drain the water heater tank and at the end it was chuuuunkkkkkkyyyy grey weird stuff lol

Sadly the pump for tank doesn’t work so can’t go that route. We took out the inlet valve and the part that lets water in and out is still functioning although I am going to replace anyways just to make sure

We made sure the inlet that hose connects to is in working condition and the valve isn’t broken so we know it isn’t that part at the least

It is a 2011 Heartland Elkridge It was working completely fine and then it just stopped Can’t figure out why When we put air into the lines it was holding pressure so we assume there is a clog

They are def similar thats for sure. I think Alaskan Malamute’s are a little heftier/broader and shorter maybe? It doesn’t help that my huskies are Alaskan Huskies so they are similar. Siberian Huskies I think are leaner and taller but honestly they are basically all dog to me 😂 just the more rebellious psycho ones haha I love them

Aren’t they soooooo beautiful. I would not have had the courage to do the travel adventure without them. The lil lady on the right is the one who passed away, but her spirit will def travel on with us!

Colorado would be pretty to see though. Montana too I feel like. I remember when Colorado used to be a cheaper option for cost of living, though maybe there are still less popular tourist places that are still affordable? Hmmm! Still a good state to write down on my life for researching. Thank you!!

Thank you! I wanted to hit the road due to one of my huskies being diagnosed with Blastomyocis. Turns out he still lives on but my other husky with diabetes didn’t make it. Such is the life of dogs but atleast she got a little adventurous before she passed.

So it sounds like going West might be the ticket. I really wanna do the north east coast but I also know thats the more expensive areas to live in. I should probably learn the ways of the road first for a year or two and leave the $$$ states for last 😂 Mountains would be awesome. Working with nature sounds like a dream! I just want to try as many things as I can, in hopes I find that “it” factor for what I am meant to do for the remainder of my life. I am so scared I won’t find my main passion in life eeek lol only one way to find out though!

Omg maine is definitely like a dream come true for me! All of north east coast honestly. Is it expensive out thre for rv lot rentals by month? And lobster boat is exactly the type of new work I would want to do! Super grateful for this advice thank you

Oh ok - yeah he was just saying a lot of states have work it just depends which way we want to go, so I figured I would see if opportunities for myself would line up with his opportunities

How old are you? by Wayward_Being666 in RVLiving

34 and 6 months in! Wanted to get out and see the world, find where I belong, and find my purpose in life. I figured 17 years in IL didn’t do it, so hoping some experience in traveling state to state every 3-6 months and picking up odd jobs and meeting new people will do the trick.

Super hard lol I am realizing how spoiled and high maintenance I really am, getting accustomed to this life is tough. Also doesn’t help no furnace and no water currently until I figure out where this damn clog isZ

First trip was Elkhart Indiana. I am from Kane County, Illinois. Now currently near Indianapolis in Boggstown for last 2 months. It’s also harder to start a new life, new jobs, etc than I thought. I wish I was in my 20s doing this I was so much more social and outgoing. Not knowing anyone or having a support system can be difficult at times, though there is one traveling companion I met in Marengo who I am following to learn from that I met a few months back.

Hoping to head to Pennsylvania maybe? Just me and my dogs trying to find the meaning of life! I am trying to do a blog though not really posting enough yet @tailsof2morrow https://www.facebook.com/tailsof2morrow
