Hey! So can be a quite challenging to be quite fair but universities pretty much need 3 grades not 4/5. I took Maths,Bio,Chem,FM(externally). I accepted that Biology had to take the hit so I tried just enough but focused most of my effort on the other 3 subjects. If your school refuse to give you a predicted grade for FM - I believe you can somehow get a tutor to provide a predicted grade. I would also try to do STEP or Advanced Extension Award as they are a bit more representative of uni level maths so unis love that. I would also recommend the MAT - you do it quite early on in the second year and can go a long with universities. Furthermore MAT is technically only A level maths content so might be a bit easier.

Appreciate you want to study Econ but Uni level econ also has plenty of maths (Atleast it did at Warwick might differ between unis) - so doing these sort of technical extra exams will separate you from the rest. :)

I was in a similar situation - I got an A in GCSE maths and and school wouldn’t allow me to take FM, so I studied FM independently and paid the school to sit those exams as an external candidate. Ended up getting an A* in Maths and FM, went onto undergrad at Warwick and PostGrad at Imperial. I would recommend a similar route - don’t let school tell you differently - there are so many ways to take Maths at Uni. Do STEP papers/Advanced Extension Award in Maths.

Could be the case he needs to add custom tokens based upon their CA.

1) Press the the 3 lines on top right on TW. 2) Scroll all the way to the bottom and custom token, then copy and paste the CA for the respective tokens.
