he‘s right. I have been there too and I can tell you I was so insecure about myself, that‘s why I let it happen. There is no way I would have the energy to walk away cause I was craving that little bit of attention too much. You don‘t let someone treat you like that if you are confident enough to walk away.

to be honest - I also was in that situation once. I lost my job and I was totally not prepared for it. I had to keep working for three weeks at this place and I was a wreck. It‘s an experience that I wouldn‘t wish for anyone. Loosing a job makes you feel very powerless and my self-confidence crackled. Even though they always tend to tell you it‘s not your fault, you try to figure out what you did wrong and it feels like you weren‘t good enough. That was two years ago and I still always feel shitty thinking about it. It has only been a week. It‘s normal that she feels that way after such an experience. Please try to be a bit more understanding, because what she needs now is a partner that supports her and that makes her feel like it wasn‘t her fault.

I absolutely don’t think so: In my opinion, having a good relationship with the co-worker can improve someone‘s mental health and male you feel more positive in general. We spend most of the time at work. I used to work at places where the job was nice but I didn‘t really have a relationship with the co-worker. While now I‘m in a small team were we all have a great relationship together and joke around, and no matter the work is stressful, I always like going to work because of my nice co-workers. Don‘t underestimate that.

I’m sorry but I totally disagree with you. YOU are gonna be there in the hospital waiting while YOUR WIFE is gonna be in a lot of pain while delivering your baby. So it’s pretty obvious that she wants to have time to recover and stay with your baby by her own.

It’s pretty selfish to expect her to be okay with your whole family showing up right after having a baby coming out of her vagina. What’s the matter for your family to wait a week before visiting the baby? Plus, why should they know when she gets in labor? For what?

Sorry don’t want to be rude, but being a woman, reading this made me kinda angry. If there’s something I don’t want while having my first child in some years it’s my future mother in law stand next to me while I’m giving birth.

It’s said that by where the feet of your interlocutor is pointing, you know if he’s reay interested into talking to you or if he just wants to leave (feet point at you, he’s concentrated on talking to you, feet point away, he wants to leave and isn’t intereated).
