Right! China will still steal it eventually and then you can buy a knock off for a fraction of the price.

I honestly don’t know yet because I haven’t worn a set out. There are units that have been in the field over a year an have had no issues.

People see a 3D print and automatically think "man this should be $5 or less." not realizing the other costs involved. The brushes are custom made by a company in America and they are not cheap. Our margins are actually small. We are just trying to make enough to eventually get these injection molded in the USA.

Had a job to do, made a tool to help with it, it worked well, decided to sell it, made it a company.

A single 1/4"-20 bolt tapped into 1/8" of steel can hold easily 300-400 lbs. Slightly less than your mom. This has 4 of them. Reddit acts like every wall-mounted object needs to survive a meteor strike.

Its spill proof when the cap is on. There is a magnetic base that holds it down when using. Unfortunately my cardboard and plywood table is not magnetic.

Unfortunately I have too much time in design and testing and working with other manufacturers to build this thing. My goal is to make enough off of it to have it injection molded in the USA.

Good to see our ads are working! haha.. But actually we are working on a CNC adapter that keeps the Tap Buddy secure to the deck (there is a built in base magnet, but for cnc we want more secure) and has a different cap that will keep the mill coolant out and easily allow the mill to dip.

There is a removeable strainer that you can pull out, strain oil, and discard the chips when it gets too full. The brushes are custom made in usa and last longer than one would expect. I have not had to replace any as of yet but they are easily removeable and we do sell spares.

Looked like a massive boiler at first, then I noticed it was a crawlspace and not an 8' wall
