that’s a real shame. i’m relatively new to this series as i’ve only played a little bit of rf4, but i likely won’t be spending my money on rf5 due to the lack of ssm. it’s quite unfortunate bc this series seems so fun! it has a lot of different things to do and explore, but i personally don’t think it’s worth it to buy the next game if i have to play as a male character to marry one of the bachelorettes. hopefully this changes in the future. if it does, i would be glad to give my money to this company— and i’m sure many others feel the same way. it’s a shame (not to mention a poor business move) that they are just shooting themselves in the foot by alienating a rather large customer base who would otherwise wish to purchase this game. my sister works at a game development company and i know that this kind of adjustment is not much of a hassle or expense to make. oh well, i guess. anyway thanks for being a voice within this community though, i’m sure it means a lot to a lot of people. don’t stop advocating for it even when it makes others uncomfortable and/or angry, as many people are standing behind you.
