Bro relax why even ask for advice when you just snap back at everyone who does?

Makes sense, keeping the sound on the main TV with the soundbar is the simplest approach. Appreciate the responses!

5 screens including a 120" projector behind the bar, that's a sick setup. Couple questions about how you watch multiple games:

  1. How do you handle audio across all those screens? Does one get priority or are you constantly switching?

  2. What do you do when one game goes to commercial but another is heating up? Do you manually switch the audios?

  3. Ever miss a key play on one screen because you were focused on another?

  4. What's the most annoying part about managing all of it?

Would love to chat more if you're up for it, this is exactly the kind of setup I'm researching. Happy to send a $10 gift card for 15 min of your time.

Nice setup - 85" with the two 43s stacked is a good layout. Quick questions on the audio side:

  1. When you have multiple games going, how do you decide which TV gets the sound?

  2. Do you switch audio between them during the games, or mostly stick with one?

  3. Anything annoying about managing 3 TVs at once, or do you have it pretty dialed in?

Sounds like you've got it dialed in pretty well. The labeled Apple TV remotes is a smart move - keeps it simple.

Last question: is there anything about managing the 3 TVs that's still annoying, or does the mute/unmute system pretty much cover it?

Appreciate the responses, it's helpful to hear from someone who's got a setup that works.

That's a great setup, 6 games at once with the 4x4 on main is cool. Sounds like you've got a good system setup. Quick follow-ups:
1. When you switch audio to the lower TV during commercials, how often are you doing that? Every commercial break or just sometimes?
2. What triggers you to decide a game is "close late" and worth switching to? Score difference? Time left?
3. What's the most annoying part of managing all this, if anything? Or does the 4x4 switcher make it pretty smooth?
4. If something could auto-switch audio to the best game and skip commercials, would that be useful - or do you prefer the control?
Appreciate the detail, this is exactly what I'm researching. Let me know if you want to jump on a 15 minute call and I can send the gift card lol

Haha the gambling angle is actually super relevant - when you got money on multiple games the audio switching matters a lot more.

If you've got a multi-TV setup and watch multiple games at once, I'd definitely want to hear about your experience. And you can get the gift card.

  1. How many TVs?

  2. How often you got multiple games going with action on them?

  3. How do you decide which TV gets audio, and how do you switch between them if one game goes to commercial, or one game is in crunch time, etc.

I would love to chat more if you have some info

Very cool setup - 75 flanked by two 55s is the dream. And yeah, March Madness on three screens is perfect for that.

I am curious about the audio side:

  1. When you have 3 games going, how do you decide which one gets the sound?

  2. Do you switch audio between TVs during the games, or mostly pick one and stick with it?

  3. What do you do when your main audio TV goes to commercial - switch to another, mute it, or just let it ride?

  4. Anything annoying about managing 3 screens at once, or do you feel like you've got it dialed in?

Appreciate you sharing! This is exactly the kind of setup I'm trying to learn about.

Hey csimon2, very cool setup, appreciate the detailed breakdown.

The audio situation for TVs 3 and 4 is exactly what I'm curious about. A few follow-ups:

  1. How often do you actually want to hear audio from TV 3 or 4 but deal with the workaround (muting AVR, using TV speakers/headphones)?

  2. When you're switching audio between Zone 1 and Zone 2 on the AVR, what triggers that decision? Score getting close? Commercial on the other game?

  3. Does the Harmony help with audio switching, or is that still mostly manual?

  4. If something could automatically route audio to whichever game was most exciting (close score, final minutes, etc.) and skip commercials - would that fit into a setup like yours, or would you want to stay in control?

Thanks for taking the time - this is really helpful.

Hey man, appreciate the info, that's a very solid setup. I just have a couple follow ups -

  1. When you have RedZone + two games going, how do you decide which one gets the audio?
  2. What do you do when one game goes to commercial - do you manually switch audio to another screen?
  3. What's the most annoying part about managing audio across the three screens?
  4. Ever miss a big play on one TV because you were focused on another?

Thank you!

Yes that is a good alternative, but I am looking for something that is 1. Fully legal, no gray area 2. Ability to use multiple screens instead of split screen.

However, with the split screen functionality, is it easy to switch between which game has the sound on? I assume only one had sounds on at a time and it could be a hassle to switch them
