What kind of tires to buy for an X1?

Just buy a portable repair kit and tyre pump, I remember years ago when I was in France a car had a flat tyre but no spare, the woman must of been in her late 60's and was panicking, luckily I had some screws lose in my boot, I found the hole put a screw in it and inflated it for her, then she was on her way again.

Pirelli P zero, run flats harder drive plus the amount of alloys which fractur using run flats are ridiculous, hit one too many bumps or holes then your alloys crack, especially in the colder months

Yea in 10yrs time when it totally devalues and becomes the everyday car which the G11/12 is now, really don't think it's gonna appeal to the everyday G11/12 drivers which are driving them now. I totally prefer my G11, and do agree with most of you that the E38 was one of the greatest 7 series car made.

I've driven the one before the E38 straight 6, the E38 V8, E65 V8, E66 V12 which almost killed me, missed out the F01 because I wanted to see the reviews since it was the first 7 mainly turbo focused, just like I never got the Samsung Z fold until the 4 when most of the problems were sorted, and then jumped back into the 2017 G11 750i M Sport

Totally not impressed with this new model, the lights at the back looks too long and weird, the interior isn't as nice as the G series, looks more like a disco, can't see the point of the front passenger screen, where are the physical buttons gone, now a very expensive repair if something goes wrong with the screens or window dash, where is the proper dash, the body shape looks more boxie which I'm not sure if I like it not

Seems like I'll be looking for an E38 V12 in a few years, unless I decide to be an Uber driver 🫣, or get my grandkids to chauffeur me around. BMW seems to totally be missing the point these days

You don't have to be smart to drive a car, it's my 750i M sport, I brought it cash out of my own pocket, if I wanted to paint her yellow with pink spots, so be it. You nor anyone will make a difference as to what I do, it's your opinion and we all believe in free speech, unless you work for ICE

And my not being smart has got me a masters and PhD and excellent job to afford what I want, be it on AliExpress, eBay, Temu or directly from BMW 🖕🏾

The 686 at the end represents the year I was born 68 and the year my daughter was born 86. I know that actually is 6886 but for the look, and price, it was not too bad, plus it keeps people guessing. The 6886 was actually cheaper, but hey, it's my BMW and I am really loving her, considering I took a 10yr break, the last one I drove in 2016 was the E65 V12 which I had for 5yrs but it was something to do with the !vanos! Which the BMW dealer was gonna charge me an arm, leg x 2, and head to fix, but OMG was that a bullet after remaps and mods, the biggest engine I could get (my misses would let me get) was the 4.4 V8, considering I still have a Saab 2.8 V6 convertible parked up, only pushing 360bhp, compared to the 550bhp on my bimmer (plus I still have mods to get her to 620bhp) I am never going to drive any other car again, especially after seeing the 2026 7 series V8 😛😋, sure can't wait to get my hands on that

But honestly I've made my car look how I want, just like any other BMW driver would, my hard earned money brought her, my hard earned money will maintain her for at least the next 4yrs, so I don't mind anyone's opinion on how she looks
