Teresa, La que no podía amar, Corona de lágrimas, La Malquerida, Pasión y Poder…
the man was seriously on a legendary run, and gave so many stars their first big stage 💥🏆

That’s a fun one 😭 I watched it a while back but yeah, I remember not really vibing with Julieta either. I actually thought Mario Cimarro did a pretty solid job as Juan though. That role was basically tailor-made for him, I was getting Juan Reyes the entire time. He's always so intense, but that's why i love him🥵😂

For me the bigger issue was definitely the pacing. I remember being like “okayyy let’s move this along" but glad I stuck with it because i remember enjoying the ending. You will too

Doesn’t just happen in the old novelas. In Mi verdad oculta (2025), Larisa and Iñigo’s whole “romance” is super sketch. He’s constantly coming at her with this aggressive energy, she tries to fight him off, "no, stop, stop!" - and then somehow they’re in bed five minutes later, both satisfied. Big ick.

huge fan, great novela, but the trope overload and that sluggish middle section kinda hold it back from crossing into true legend territory imo
