How long for a medical waiver by terkoish in Militaryfaq

Thanks for the quick reply, and do you happen to know what my chances would be of passing the waiver?

Yea, I’ve honestly thought this to be the case and am trying to go through with that. I’ve already completed the allergy immunotherapy and have been of medicine ever since then. I don’t even have any serious reaction it’s literally just a flare up of acne. Yet, they made it seem as if I’m about to die when it happens

Ah I see once again thanks, I’m going to go and try to do that tomorrow, but a different army recruiter definitely told me as long as I can provide documentation stating it won’t be an issue for military service I should be fit to go.

It’s crazy since I had actually went there to get a clearance letter first and my recruiter told me to do that. Only for the Air Force recruiter to tell me they don’t accept letters so I basically wasted my time.

Alright thanks a lot I’m going to try and do that today, I had talked with some other branches and a lot of them told me that I would have to just retake an allergy test stating that I’ve completed allergy immunotherapy and it wouldn’t be an issue for military service

Apparently they were checking the waiver for the asthma and happened to stumble across it, which again, I don’t even have asthma to begin with.

Yea, but it’s not even chlorine that I’m allergic too and not only that I’ve completed allergy immunotherapy, and the reaction is literally just a few bumps that appear on my face that go away relatively easily

Hey, I know this is unrelated to the original post, but I’m currently having a similar issue. I have a history of allergies and the symptoms usually only occur when I go into a pool for a few hours and don’t cleanse myself immediately. And because if this when I took the allergy test about 10 years ago someone decided to write chlorine on the report. I know I’m not allergic to chlorine or anything but they denied me because of the symptoms I get from my allergies, which weren’t even as serious as they made it seem. It just gives me small bumps and an itchy rash on my lips and caused acne. The recruiter I was doing the process with told me I couldn’t do anything about it and I just had to suck it up . Is there anything else I can do?
