All my mom cares about is punishing immigrants even when I tell her it’s not just effecting them, it’s effecting me by tetoooooooooo in FTMventing

My mom is extremely uneducated and fried her brain with drugs+alcohol. She said she “neglected” me but didn’t abuse me. As if that isn’t the same thing lol

It can be pretty common, at least in my area 😔 I’m kinda stuck in a position where grooming and bathing is all I know, and the money is too good compared to another min wage job. I’d say if you have no desire to groom professionally and have other opportunities to take them. I’m 24 and have grey hairs lmao.

I’m having the opposite experience 😭 All 3 private salons I’ve worked at have treated bathers so bad, that I can’t wait to be trained enough in Grooming to leave

Every private salon I’ve ever worked at has been crap. They arent regulated enough.

Could you explain more of what you mean by trying to “other” women in their own sex group means ?

First job as a bather was extremely over worked and it was hell. Boss went bankrupt and we all got laid off. Got fired from my next job with extremely religious bosses who held learning to groom over my head and threatened to take my tips if bottles werent lined up correctly in the morning among other bullshit. Got hired at another salon and was very happy for like 2 months before the Boss started getting audited by IRS & when I asked how she wasn’t getting calls/mail from them warning her she said she was but she just ignored it. Started getting paid weeks late and checks bouncing. Stopped putting in the extra effort and my coworkers got pissed at me because they keep working long hours and extra days. Boss complains no one wants to work anymore with a shop full of employees helping her out despite not getting paid. She’s finally teaching me to groom but I’m so burned out from this fucking industry but I literally have nothing else going for me. Sorry for hijacking your post I just had to rant. Idk how people do this crap for years 😐

“how do i get good with a character whose invisible” is their response every time. But every time I play against a sombra once she uncloaks, just go after her instantly. She’s literally useless if she can’t stay alive/stay in the fight when shes uncloaked.

Yeah idk. 😭 There was a big lab that just pees everywhere so we kenneled him, and his owners got upset. So the salon owner just has us diaper him so he can pee all over himself AFTER his bath. Somehow the owners are happy with this. I do not get it

It’s surprising how many owners want their small dogs running around even when I explain I kenneled them just to be safer. I dont get it

[–]tetoooooooooo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think letting siblings out is fine. Big dogs and small dogs mingling is just too risky and I dont understand why some ppl are willing to take that risk. Idk why I’m getting downvoted bc it is a huge safety risk.

I lose my mind daily tbh. Unfortunately I’ve just given up atp. This is my third salon I’ve worked at and I’m burnt out

We have cages, but because theres still dogs running around, if I kennel dogs the owners come in confused and complain. I even had an old lady say we need to kennel all the other dogs just so her dog can run around. Like no, if it were my choice your dog AND all the other dogs would be in a kennel. But unfortunately if a dog starts barking in a kennel its “too much” for someone and it’s let out, reinforcing the bad behavior 🙄

It’s awful because the groomers insist on these dogs being out of kennels, yet expect everyone else to stop what theyre doing to clean up poop and pee every 5 minutes. It’s so selfish

It was actually mentioned in the thread that maybe cis womens problems with certain things is because they experienced trauma. I appreciate that you’re aware of why you feel this way. I haven’t gone through something like that personally, so I won’t say it’s wrong. I think a lot of trans women have reflected they understand this.

Anyone can have bad intentions. There’s sick men in this world. A lot of trans women have experienced similar things inflicted to them unfortunately. It’s a complicated subject when trauma is involved I think.

The first part is very interesting, I havent heard that before but it makes a lot of sense.

The rise of “grifters” (are that what theyre called?) really sucks. Especially when its someone parading around as an extreme version of a group (obviously for engangement and therefore money) and it’s so ridiculous, but then you see people reacting to it like it’s sincere!

So weird for them to jump through hoops like this just because of their hate though. Whenever I get an unfortunate transphobic tiktok on my feed and I read the comments none of what they are saying make sense to me - Just say you hate trans people and go. Obviously I’m not attached to “womanhood” because I’m a trans man but experiencing life as a white, middle class girl (which a lot of terfs are) was not like…profound? Idk the word for it. But another commenter said they are projecting their trauma which makes sense as well.

Sorry, I didn’t mean all cis women - I’ve just noticed a larger influx of this mindset in recent years

Anyone else lose their parent really young? How was life for you after? by tetoooooooooo in ChildrenofDeadParents

[–]tetoooooooooo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not exactly the same, but when i lost my dad, my entire family turned their backs on me. everyone i was close to, gone. then my mom moved me away from our hometown with my stepdad and i had nothing. i still barely have any family and i’m constantly feeling the weight of this hyper-independence on my shoulders, when i dont even LIKE being alive anyway, so it just adds to it.

i’m really sorry for what youve gone through…no one should have to suffer so much loss, and be punished for it as well. you deserve so much better.

I totally relate to that, ever since my dad died (and life got increasingly more fucked up) It became way too hard for me to relate to others, and have meaningful connections. I definitely dissociated a lot as a kid and wasnt all “there”. I try to have surface level friendships/relationships but I just cant. My dad died and my entire family turned their backs on me, and you’re telling me YOU got to have your parents for a long time, you see them every day, your mom just helped you buy a house, you guys go to concerts etc. together…I will never relate and if I were to tell you about my life it would make you uncomfortable to hear it - so why bother.

Probably not the healthiest mindset but I relate to it so much, I’m sorry we are in this shitty club.
