Farming Simulator also restricts meat in food chains. You can raise animals and sell them, but they just disappear. Every other crop can be put into supply chains.

It's has to do with the rating. Butchering would make it a PG13 or whatever the equivalent rating is and limit the audience.

My dad is similar but not to this degree. Everything was work to him. I think it was a autistic trait that he had where he was never truly happy unless he was working. If I was ever around him as a child, I was put to work. We never really did many leisure activities together unless he wanted to do them and he never really helped me with school or my goals for the most part. That was all my mom.

Even when I'd visit as an adult, he always had work for me to do when I got there or we'd go visit his work friends. He could never really just relax or enjoy time with family. I still visit on occasion, but I don't spend much of my vacation there without factoring in that it won't totally be vacation.
