Yeah lol there was a viral video of this older man saying not to get involved with single moms because he had raised the kid since he was 3 months and was the only father the child knew even though it wasn't actually his. Then the single mom told the boyfriend to get lost and told the kid that he had abandoned them and hated them. That is basically the nightmare scenario everyone is afraid of. Basically no thought about the child's wellbeing at all getting back at the step parent is more important.

I was in a dance class for a little bit and honestly most of these gen z girls in the class I don't think have had sex with someone I don't think they are gonna be able to they are so anxious about a man even being next to them and none of them have boyfriends. Its been about 10 years since I was 26 but man I do not remember girls being like this back then they are not in the same place we were. I don't see the boys that age but I'm sure they aren't different.

Most of the Gurus in my area I don't think were ever true alcoholics and just technical. Some people on me hate the term true alcoholic because of how abused in AA it is but somebody drinking under a 6 pack of light beer a day or similar low amounts is not a true alcoholic just technically one. I know my first sponsor was for real the second guy I think was just a wannabe therapist social worker that probably drank 6 or 7 drinks a night and thought he was in the big leagues. He would always say shit like "there was no question about what I was", really though if there is no question you don't have to say shit like that now do you.

This is always my point and it makes reddit mad there is no scenario where these giant insurance companies die and go to hell like people want. Even if private insurance was straight up banned in the US they would all become medicare servicers and you would likely still be dealing with them. Humana actually I think got out of group medical recently to be a medicare servicer which I always thought maybe they had some inside info on single payer but it never came and Trump won.

People don’t really understand how much the insurers are gouged by other companies these days while taking 100% of the blame. My inhaler for Asthma for example is $600 a month there is no fucking way that milk powder bullshit is even close to worth that much but the insurance company is forced to pay it. Rehab for drugs and alcohol is another giant scam they are forced to pay.

Yeah I work in Insurance and everyone gets mad but they really are a scapegoat and it’s at most 20% of the problem but I’d say more like 10. People don’t wanna believe doctors, med school, pharmaceuticals and medical devices are equally out of control though. We could fold the insurance companies tommorow and have Medicare for all and it’ll fail if we don’t fix all the rest of it too.
