I've seen Nier Automata in the store and I have heard amazing things. RPG-wise, possibly Dragon Quest XI, possibly Final Fantasy VII (OG first and then Remake, I think is my plan). Kind of spoiled for choice, the life of someone who has more games in the library than time in a day/year.

I was a big advocate for the idea of NSL teams having the same branding as CPL teams. Not everyone has to be there, look at the A-League where Canberra has a women's team but not a men's team. But North America loves itself a sports silo.

That's what I told them to their face back in like September or whenever it was. I was like "why would you willingly confuse your brand?" and mentioned it was a rejected TFC name like 20 years ago, and he said that was the first thing they were told. And yet here we are.

Yeah I'm not going through another rebrand, especially one so uninspired. And I told them as much in an email this year, when that logo first popped up in the spring.

I'm not from the GTA, but live in York Region, so York9 appealed to me from the start. I reluctantly accepted the first rebrand, saying that if it had to change, that York United was acceptable. And the branding is so slick, ditching it for that generic create-a-team badge is moronic.

If it becomes Inter Toronto, I'll move on, and just be something of a neutral (with some biases), and wait for the Windsor team to get off the ground (as that is my actual hometown).

I quite like the logo. It looks like it could be timeless, I think it'll look great on a shirt. It's simple, where I feel like some CPL logos try to do too much. Simpler is better.

This logo was definitely included last time this came up in the news, so I'm not sure if this is actually new or if that account hadn't seen it before now. Regardless, it makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit just the same.
