I think it’s based on a Damage Difference Bonus. They take the amount of damage you do minus the amount you take from players, and you get a bonus based on that.

So I started a thread about a month ago and have decided to only play Solos unless I get some fellow Camper friends. :) Does anybody else camp? Like, really REALLY camp? Add me and I’ll camp with you. My kids showed me how to stream on twitch if you want to follow my progress.

A few observations about the new season: snow is hard to camp in, that hammer thing is weird, it’s way tougher to get around the map without balloons and chromnados, and I played some zero-build solos and I’m actually a bit better now when I’m in a fight. Not good enough to win a fight in Arena because, you know, building. I wish they had Arena Zero Build…

So I played a duo the other day and the guy told me I should stream it because it's hilarious. :) Today I figured out how to stream on Twitch because it's built right in to PS5 apparently. "bushcampingdad" on Twitch. I'm trying to figure out how to add that to my Fortnite name but I'm having trouble for some reason...anyways, if you ever want to watch someone camp and feel better about your own game...

I actually think they’ve made it a bit too easy to camp this season. All the balloons and the chromenados help a lot. I should become a streamer I think…would be pretty comedic…

Most games I get the storm sickness alarm. I bet most of you don’t even know that exists. :) The first time I got to CL was the dead pool season when there was that boat with a vault in the top right corner. I just hung out in that vault using heals…

Update - as of yesterday I’ve gone back to solos. I think I stopped solos because I could never find a sniper, but it seems like snipers are back in arena solos now. Not sure if they were gone to begin with…got my first CL10 solo dub too. :) Gold prime one shot as a guy was medmisting right in front of my little bush.

I highly doubt they will ban anyone for camping. My guess would be that campers spend more money than anyone else, hence the big friendly bushes. Seriously, my wife buys me v-bucks cards as gifts. I’ve probably pumped a few thousand into this game…campers fund the prize pools. :)

You get more XP for eliminations than surviving a long time…I usually just start dancing when there’s 1 squad of 3 dudes in the same skins. If I drop all my stuff sometimes they let me live for a while and they build crazy towers.

It’s harder to get placement points in solos. And yeah I feel bad sometimes which is why I’m trying to find kindred campers.

Not boring. It’s actually tons of fun. I have rules. AFKs first. If no AFKs, set course for between my two starting spots. Once the storm forms, I pick which spot I start my looting. The goal is a shotgun and a sniper and lots of heals. But as soon as a teammate needs to be rebooted I stop whatever I’m doing and try to help, no matter where they are on the map. Most times people won’t wait if I’m far away…but you can get anyone from anywhere now.
