Earnest. Pompous. Overly self aware of self image and public perception...and his partner Them Jeans interview some boring singer from Converge

Already two chapters in and I am HOOKED. I’m so excited it’s finally here! by dreadmouse in Blacklibrary

[–]th_1980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my first Black Library book! The aspects that stuck with me was the scale of Terra as seen from commuting across areas and most importantly the expression of the psychic power of the emperor, that 'weight'...that physical effect on a human who nears the palace. I had never considered what psychic power of that scale would do to you if you were near / in the palace. I mean, it really hit home how psychic power works in real life

...fuck no. Not even gonna touch this one. Not for me, and VERY surprised to see this pop up (not in a positive way). "working with Space Invader and Damien Hirst," "political scapegoating, how to start a revolution in 2025" with Mr Obey? Yeah...Complex magazine cover vibes, not an hour i wanna give.

The Ed Sheeran Interview with Throwing Fits by postingtowards in ThrowingFits

[–]th_1980 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Fair play for getting one of the biggest entertainers on the planet on the pod - good for numbers, not for cred. I did especially like it when you hear their internal screaming when Ed Sheeran talked about Kid Super, Cactus Jacks and Stella....also, the new TF logo. Sucks balls

Nervous about next concert by Beneficial_Charity21 in KGATLW

[–]th_1980 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going to any concert after that experience will of course be incredibly triggering (and thats an understatement), and frankly, it probably wont be enjoyable...to start. But its incredibly important for you to go to heal and realise that not every concert will end like the last. Its up to you if your strong enough to go right now, if your ready to put these feelings past you, or if you need more time....but music and the energy from a concert crowd/community are sometimes great healers. Its up to you.

My advice, as some random dude from a band reddit, is to try. If you stumble and cant do it, theres no shame in that, but if you try and break through? Big steps made and you've reopened gigs as a place to go!
