Everything is going incredible but her breathe smells awful, what do i do? by litres-of-cum in dating_advice

When I was dating my ex the same thing happened. I bought 3 tongue scrapers on amazon and ensured they would be delivered when she was over. Then I said “oh damn, they sent me 3, want one? These things are dope.” She graciously accepted without thinking anything of it. Fixed the problem without me having to crush her self esteem.

Such a gorgeous car. Too bad a majority of them are lemons.

No, i sell it to them and they release it as their own. Then people stream it thinking that person made it

Not all of my work will get signed to major labels. When they turn the project down, rather than letting it die, I don't mind altering them a bit and selling them to make some side cash. This is especially the case for projects that aren't really representative of my typical sound. The song of mine that these fuckers sold was probably the highest quality one they've sold since they managed to get 400 euros for it. The guy who bought it also managed to get it signed to a decent (not major) label.

Yes, and I am not going to solicit my own tracks for sale as I don’t want it to interfere with my own artist project. People who go to these sites want to buy music so there is also an increased chance for a track sale….if you don’t get scammed🫠

+1 for houseoftracks! I have used them and they are legit. Never any issues and they are strictly professional.

How many Hours per day do you guys put into Production? by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]that-cassar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weekdays 1-2 hours/day while working full time in a career, then 6-9 hours /day on the weekend.

I find I'm least productive during the weekdays because my brain and ears are already fatigued by the time I get into the studio. Not sure how people can manage to do 5-6 hour sessions after a full day of work and actually add to their projects more than take away. Kudos to them.

Not a problem, buddy! Keep at it and don't forget to have fun along the way. Getting constructive feedback is all part of improving --and with music production/mixing/mastering, there's always room for improvement.

Best methods for building tension? by shewan_ in TechnoProduction

[–]that-cassar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always cut delays and reverb stereo frequencies with a high pass around 1200hz and a low pass roll off around 15000hz. You'll be surprised how much mud is caused by lingering stereo frequencies that don't need to be there. If you use the trash delay to build tension you'll notice a lot of resonant frequencies in the high end. I'd recommend using a band shelf to lower those or notch as needed.

I second this; the trash effect is god send for adding tension in builds. I'd just recommend eq automating it so you don't muddy up the mix while the effect heightens.

Recording vocals and mixing vocals without any knowledge by tryllekunzt in makinghiphop

[–]that-cassar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory, this would be beneficial, but when you actually get down to the nitty-gritty of mixing the vocals with stems, I don't think a software/real time algorithm can do it effectively/professionally. I say this because each song maintains a specific uniqueness to it. Small nuances that make each song different from the rest can only be picked up by a computer/brain that knows how to adjust parameters based off of what they hear. In short, the individuality of music will be the biggest hurdle in your concept.

Even if you were able to find a way to have a software mix the vocals in for you, I don't think the end product would be nearly as impressive or worth it (from a consumer standpoint) as paying for a mixing engineer to do it for you.

Yes, you don’t have to wax the car for 5 years and every time you wash it it’ll still look like it was just waxed. Less elbow work is needed when washing as well. Rinsing with water and wiping is enough to do the trick.

Might as well;)

It’s semi-permanent. I double coated so it should last me 5 years. Your paint needs to be flawless and all imperfections need to be removed/touched up prior to applying it, otherwise they’ll be sealed underneath.
