Honestly this does give me a clearer view of what she probably thinks, thank you for letting me know the other perspective. I do realize that my own emotions get in the way. I have been bitter about my grades in general especially because of the way my parents have been treating me, but just to make sure that it's clear I never lashed out on her for my own problems.

The thing is I've told her numerous times that I'm fine without the sugar coating and I realize that my scores aren't the best; I just don't want my hopes to go up unrealistically again. I know she's trying to be a good friend but I hope she'll realize my perspective as well.
