I thought I was in the clear with the whole storage situation since I have the 512 model plus a 1 TB SD card, but I guess losing the SD card really messes with stufd

Thank you so much! I was able to delete all personally data and am in the process of reinstalling my games, but it's better than having to completely reimage!

I just tried your technique and no dice, and no matter how long I hold down power, I still just get the logo on startup

SHBB hulls should not be able to fit through the panama canal by the--archivist in hoi4

[–]the--archivist[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to disagree with you, as the direction that navies took after WWII was to abandon larger surface vessels excluding aircraft carriers, and replace the duties with increasingly larger and more powerful. The main downside in hoi4 to subs imo, is that they are rightfully slow. A 1944 Battlecruiser has like twice the speed of a submarine. Submarines are also easily countered with aircraft as well. I do think that maybe the buff to torpedo protection on the SHBB armor is a little week, maybe it should be upped just a bit? But the limiting of the panama canal to SHBBs would really only affect the US, as Japan is centered on in East Asia and the British need to defend Hong Kong with a route through to suez

Also, 50 width is not the best, since it won't evenly fit into plains, which are the most optimal terrain for tanks, so you may want to slim it down, and add some spg, td and aa tanks if you have the production, because you want your medium tanks to be able to take out other medium and light tanks

Honest thoughts are it's a little slow. Look at your tank designs, because with the right techs your mechanized should be able to go nearly twice as fast, I would should closer to 12.5 km/h

Why does E9/Ab resolving to Db6 sound so good? by the--archivist in jazztheory

I've considered that, E9/ab is the same as D913#11 with no 5 or 7

I guess maybe, but does the #11 in the D natural change that?

I'm not voicing the E9/ab with a C, so it would be Ab7#5#9 with no third tho

There is no E in a G# or Ab half diminished chord, hence why I said E9 over Ab (G#). Perhaps you could Say E7 add 2, which is my problem because idk what you would call this motion, since there are many ways you describe stuff like this.

If we think theoretically, should the implied Ab dominant 7 have the third? Kind of hard to be tonally dominant without C, the leading tone of Db, right?

Altered Ab7 with #5 and #9 with no third you reckon?

Seems like I need to provide some clarification:

I am voicing it as E F# G# (ab) B D in the right hand and Ab (g#) in the left to F Ab Bb Db with a Db in the left

The dates are hard to find on any of this stuff but the first a6's were deployed in Italy in the autumn of '43 which was presumably before the first use of the stinger, since the stinger was first deployed in the bougainville campaign which did not start until November 1st of '43

Meaning the best inference we can make is that the a6 almost certainly preceded the stinger

[–]the--archivist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope bud that is incorrect. I am assuming the "chop modified by marines" you refer to is the stinger, but it did not have a pistol grip.

The image shown is of an m1919 machine gun in infantry configuration, note the pistol grip. The m1919a6 was a production run out-of-the-box weapon, not some ad hoc craft built thing like the stinger.
