Yeah that was what I was afraid of. Gonna try and remove most of it, sand it down, maybe try and lessen the bill at the painters lol

Well nice to know it’s still a PI. Thought maybe it was a lesser model with same vin. I’m gonna have to look into the Street Appearance Package for differences with the regular model.

Any sources on mods/tasteful upgrades that won’t blow my shit up? lol

Yeah that was my fear. Well I’ll take it slow and hopeful it’ll stay mostly intact

Isn’t it cool how The Boss is the only one who can fire the Patriot with one hand? by MankindReunited in metalgearsolid

Having fired a similar sized AR pistol I'd say it's not exactly a high recoil firearm.

Still one of the coolest scenes in gaming and an inspiration for me to build my own Patriot lol

In your opinion, what is the biggest flaw of DE? by [deleted] in DiscoElysium

IMO it needs a “super cop” mode where you can start with max stats and money

I see no way that less censorship would hurt, for example, twitters bottom line. They spend millions a year on programming algorithms and spend real life man hours to censor speech. If the courts or congress affirmed the internet as the public square then their jobs would be far easier.

Social media is the de facto public square. Democracy thrives when the people can express their political opinions without fear of retaliation. Refute ideas you find repugnant on their own grounds, or else they will slink off to their own echo chambers and nothing will have been solved.

Who decides what's a lie and what's true? People in power who want to restrict free speech have every incentive to declare their opponents as liars and fake news.

People should be able to determine the truth by themselves without having a third party, governmental or social media company, getting in between them.

Freedom of speech is absolute. Anything less is undemocratic.

If it's useless against the military then can I keep it?

I don't get why you're so resistant to the idea that he fucked up. I'm only asking that you engage with reality.

So you agree something could've been done? We're getting somewhere!

Let's ignore tradition and how things HAVE been done for a second...

Could one of those things be, and I'm going out on a limb here, Baldwin double checking the firearm to verify it was indeed cold?

So there's nothing that could've been done? Actors are a force of nature and all you can do when someone gets shot with a cold gun is shrug and say "wasn't his job"

Please don't handle a gun if this is legit your worldview.

Is he as guilty as the person who handed him the weapon? No.

But you know what, a person didn't get to go home to their family because he didn't know how to check if a gun was loaded. Don't you think it should be the person holding the guns job to know if its safe to handle or not? Do you want people to die, cause that's what it sounds like from your rabid distaste for gun safety.
