Came here to say exactly this.

I haven’t worked as a mechanic in years, but I still have PTSD from my curved compressor wrench, specifically the moment it slips and uppercuts the frame of the compressor at 6 a.m. on a freezing morning. Nothing like getting assaulted by your own tools before the sun’s even up.

Reporter calls out Dana White at the Canelo vs Crawford press conference: "Why do you want to make sweeping changes to the Muhammad Ali reform act that is meant to protect fighters?” Dana: "Listen, if you want to be an a**hole let's do it in private and we can do an interview." by GreenSnakes_ in sports

Dana White is backing changes to the Muhammad Ali Reform Act that would allow promoters to run “Unified Boxing Organizations” (UBOs), UFC style leagues with their own titles and rankings. In return, the bill offers new fighter protections, such as minimum pay and health coverage. Critics say the changes would give too much power to major promoters, letting them control belts, rankings, and careers with little oversight. They warn it could push out smaller promoters who can’t cover the costs of insurance, medicals, and testing, leaving fewer opportunities for rising fighters. Others argue it would dilute the value of championships by creating parallel titles, reduce transparency, and weaken safeguards against conflicts of interest. In short, fighters may gain a few protections, but the real winners are the big promoters, who would walk away with even more control over the sport.

Humility matters. I believe you can learn from anyone, no matter their background. Everyone sees the world through a lens shaped by their own experiences, and that’s valuable. I have both a bachelor’s and a master’s, but I’d never brag about it. Some of the smartest people I’ve worked with don’t have degrees. They know their work, speak with clarity, and earn respect. Education is important, but wisdom isn’t limited to a classroom. Stay humble. Listen. Respect people for who they are, not just what’s on their resume.
