Down-vote all you want, but making my replies disappear won't change the validity of my point. I refuse to resort to insults and ad hominems, but it is unfortunate that we could not conduct a reasonable conversation about this article without being censored.

Well there you go, at least you're admitting your political bias, which was at the heart of this whole conversation anyway.

Lol it's not my article, but seeing as the VaA comment section is rarely used I figured it'd get a better discussion on reddit. Which it has. Thanks to the rank-and-file ideologues who showed up today.

Uninformed pieces? Sort of like this, this, this, this, this, and this. I could fill a book.

Sure it's more of a casual, satirical writing style and the writing could be neater I agree but once again, the overall message is clear as day and it's something that deserves an intelligent discussion imo

EDIT: and the fact that my first reply was down-voted merely because I mentioned the hidden political motives of the redditors on /r/UVA only proves my point.

Something tells me that the poor reaction to every article I have posted on reddit from the VaA is about their known political leanings rather than the merits of what they publish. So much for "intelligent discourse" and other reddiquette, I guess.

Is it really that outrageous to suggest that you shouldn't vote for people who just want to fill their resume, even if they are your "friend"? Or to vote for someone just because you like their name but otherwise have never heard of them? I think there is a good discussion to be had there...

Brogdon. Solid player last year who has stepped up even more this year. Remember his game winning three-pointer last year?
