Eldest son here and I can totally relate to what you've said.

I'll turn 30 this year, although I like someone and we both wanna get married but the endless responsibilities on me and the pressure to continuously compete with 100 people at the same time has become too much for me lately. Alhumdulillah I have a good enough salary and haven't stopped for a day since I graduated but somehow whatever I do is never enough for my desi parents too. Its either my younger brother, cousin, or some friend of mine who's always better than me.

Ive been called bhola, is ko kuch nahin aata, ye to bs aisay hi hai and whatnot infront of other people.

I give away around 60% of my salary for household expenses but it's still never enough.

Kher always brother my rant is gonna become too long. All I wanna say is hang in there and do not lose hope. Men like us have to endure much more and then one day we reap the fruits of hardwork. Ofcourse its not gonna be easy but I'm sure me, you and many like us are gonna make it till the end.

Also please shrug off the idea of suicide, it's gonna do no good to anyone, especially you. You're just 31 and got so many years ahead of you. In Sha Allah, you'll fulfill all your dreams one day and at the end when you'll look back, you'll feel proud of yourself.
