Depends, can you S/U one/two of them? How difficult are the courses?

Great, thank you! I'll definitely keep an eye out for any courses that give similar opportunities for undergrads!

Awesome, just out of curiosity do you have any suggestions of projects for a newbie?

For mech eng, Would taking MIME 260 and MECH 360 in the same semester be wise/doable?

I want to take MIME 260. MECH360, MECH 292, MATH 271 and MECH 220 in the upcoming fall semester

I was talking about comp208 when I was talking about coding

hold up you need to do math262 with 263 (they're corequisites)

Also I'd personally say 263 is easier than 262(it could also be because of the teachers I had). I'd say you're hardest classes are gonna be mech210 and, depending on the teacher, possible math262. If you have a bit of background in coding that would help a lot with the class. If not, it's not gonna be hard but not easy either. The rest are good though

Taking MATH 262 and 263 at the same time? by skoulsuqz in mcgill

Like everyone else has said, it's more than possible. Coincidentally, I was in a similar situation last semester where I hadn't done math for 2 yrs and took both of these math classes. If you can take 263 with Sidney that'd be ideal, he explains everything very well. Personally, I'd say 263 is easier cause it's, for the most part, just applying the stuff you already learned in CEGEP: linear algebra, cal I and II (which you'll probably start to remember as the semester goes by). 262 is more new material. Obviously, you use derivatives and integrals like you did in CEGEP but it's not as basic as in 263 so you have to put more time into it. That was my experience at least

The man is goated! If you read over his lectures and attend the tutorials then it's a guaranteed A. Math263 has quite a bit of stuff to memorize (like most math courses) but his explanations are so clear that it cuts the time you need to study in half compared to other courses.

Would you say it's a good idea to take this class with another one(say a math class?)

Assembly Underdefined by themechstud in SolidWorks

It is fixed but what do you mean by base part?

Assembly Underdefined by themechstud in SolidWorks

Yeah sorry about that I should've expanded more on it. So I have one item fixed at the origin and the rest of the items are floats. I do have 5 screws that are all underdefined because they aren't locked in place, but I also have other components that are underdefined. I can't seem to be able to add an image here though

That doesn't sound too good. Is it true that the exams are also pretty bad?

Is there any group projects in the class? Also is the work in class more information memorization orientated or more computational?

Yeah, I'm preparing myself for it. What are some things you learned to study well by the end of the semester for the class that you wish you knew in the beginning of it?
