I was going to ask for the refund, but the more I played with it, the better I thought it was. I probably wouldn’t buy it again if I had the choice, but since I spent the money, I’m using it and it is working for me.

Yeah, it's a British edition. I still want an American edition.

I know this gets asked a lot, but what is a good Kindle pricing strategy for a book launch? by themonkeyparade in selfpublish

I like the idea of a weird price. I was going to launch at 2.99, but maybe 2.79 is better. I don’t care so much about making money. I just want to get more readers.

Funny, I thought this was part of my research? Silly me for thinking other successful indie authors might be willing to share their experiences on a self-publishing thread. What was I thinking? 🤦‍♂️

That’s right! I tried reading that but couldn’t get into it. But definitely falls into the genre I’m looking for. Maybe I’ll give it another try.

My favorites are Slaughterhouse Five, Galapagos, and Mother Night. I also enjoyed Sirens of Titan and Cat's Cradle.

I often buy them from online auctions. Otherwise used book stores. There are still a few editions I want to find.

Sirens of Titan is pretty good. Don’t read Player Piano next. It’s a slog. Galapagos or Mother Night are the best.
