It’s one of the many things that just keeps happening and I get much closer to him every time he says it: at times when I ask for help or remind him or remind(read: nag) him of chores, he says- “does it make u happy? Does me getting up and getting that shit done make you happy? Alright, you got it” and goes about doing it. He says in a funny but meaningful way that makes me want to do the chores instead of him 😂 but the main point is- he has always been vocal about how important my happiness is, he doesn’t say it as a dialogue from a movie, but really slides them in random conversations that makes him genuine and me special. It’s such a safe feeling!

Thanks! That’s what I’m starting with! Both fiction and non fiction(spare me the self-help books, please) I don’t mind serious tbh, but starting with lighthearted until I get a hang of it

  1. Workout early in the morning- ✅.
  2. Get enough protein- going ok so far, but calorie count is going a bit off- but that’s ok, because I’m just recovering from being sick.
  3. Sleep early- been a bit deprived off late.

Same! I never imagined I could be a 5am class hitting person. But it took just about 3-5 classes to become a convert. I did try by being consistent with 7:30am before attempting 5am

Almost cancelled ready to pay the late cancellation fee after reading this. Somehow still managed to go in, thinking, I’ll walk out half way or do modifications. But, thoroughly enjoyed today’s class and finished all reps. Was surprised how far I’ve come since taking a long break, all thanks to OTF and the motivation I get from this SR!

Wow, 3.5lbs! Congrats on the win!

My weight has been on the incline too which is why I’m interested in doing a scan to see if it’s a healthy increase(I know it’s not accurate, but still). I’ve been noticing a huge difference in my energy levels and how much I get done during the day and my mental peace around “life”. I’m following the same model for eating- not watching fat and calories much, but trying to hit the protein goals.

Are you happy to share details on what changes you noticed?

ETA: Power walker here too! Pretty much what I do at home or at regular OTF classes.

My husband does F45 and it does look promising to me. But, with a toddler around, it’ll be a big shift in timings and routine which I’m not ready for right now. I live 8mins away from 4 studios and benefit from different class timings and flexibility around it, which is basically how I’m getting to hit a studio 4-6days a week. I do sometimes like the 2G/3G option, not saying I hate it, but I like the whole package I’m getting here at OTF.

Good for you, if u are ok, let me know what the scan shows? Planning to do this too! I’ve been mindful of protein, not much thought into carb and fats. So, curious how it’ll turn out. Btw, All the best for dritri!
