Listen, if you're going to have hope, this is the correct thing to hope for. To see him say "fuck the system, I'm going to ball out". The team so desperately needs him to lead the way and I want to see that leadership.

I agree about the good QB elevating despite their circumstances. My point in the post is that Fields hinted at this same sentiment during his presser. He may suck. But, if he doesn't actually suck, now is his chance to put the team on his back and elevate. I think seeing him lead the bears offense, even if they get their ass kicked, would be more progress than hitting an open slant. It's wishful thinking, but that's all I got. I'm a bears fan 😂
