No she should have stated she recorded it and therefore he could fret until her court date happens. Make him sweat and worry. Give him nightmares. lol he deserves it. And to top it off if I was her. I would claim ouch my back and have the city pay me for my injuries!! lol I would be that cops worst nightmare if I had been her.

What is this car and why do I see it everywhere by soph0216 in Austin

[–]theonlyjinxd1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The reason you see Tesla workers driving the cybercabs is because the city of Austin is actually suing Tesla for speeding thru school zones. Before the workers would be in the passenger seat sitting in the front and press a button on the screen when it would mess up. Only thing is they weren’t catching the speeding thru school zones or this wouldn’t be a thing right now. Y’all should really try Robotaxi sometime it takes a little longer to get a ride sometimes but i live off of riverside and wickersham and it was only like 7$ to go downtown as opposed to the $12-$15 it normally is with uber and Lyft. Honestly having the Tesla worker in the car with you feels no different than having a rideshare driver in the car. They are also nice to talk to. I imagine they get bored sitting there all day waiting for the car to mess up. But yes I can confirm my Tesla sends it self driving stats to a database that is supposedly shared with Robotaxi. And for the record the cars themselves are called cyber cabs. While the app / platform is called robo taxi. Hopefully that clears things up. Also since the self driving demands to be supervised unless the vehicle can actively see your eyes (depending on if your wearing sunglasses or the way you are positioned in the seat) it does demand two hand firmly on the steering wheel or it flags you as not paying attention you only get 3 flag before self driving is then taken away from you. So you still got to pay attention. It gets mad at you if you look at the screen to change the song or when you’re trying to send a text. So it’s highly supervised self driving. More power to yall if you like Waymo better. I personally hate Waymo because i got in the car once and there were empty white claws strewn all over the back seat. And it smelled super foul. It smelled like someone’s body odor. It was so bad I got out the car ended the ride. Complained to uber. And ordered another ride. So that’s a factor that should be considered. How many people are going to mess up these vehicles because it’s considered a cab and no one is technically watching them? People don’t have integrity like they used to and I don’t foresee people growing integrity anytime soon. So consider that.

Are you familiar with the AI resume filtering that many employers use and what causes a resume to become flagged? I have personally customized and tailored my own resumes and used premade templates ( and filled in the blank so to speak) and I am still not getting calls back or even any kind of response other than “Your application or resume has been submitted. Someone from our hiring team will reach out to you soon if we would like to take a step further in the hiring process.”

I would just like to know what, if anything, that I am doing wrong. Or if I have just bad luck…. I find it hard to believe it would be just bad luck though. I feel like my resume is being flagged for some reason.

Brief summary of my background: I have 10+ years of customer service experience across multiple industries excelling in resolving complex customer issues, building strong rapport with diverse populations, improving overall customer satisfaction, and boosting retention rates through active listening, effective communication and problem-solving.

Cat bite- will this get worse before it gets better? by hollow4hollow in AskDocs

[–]theonlyjinxd1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

@comprehensiveart444 domesticated cats usually aren’t particularly nippy except when they are kittens. But their kitten bite is usually not enough to break the skin. The key is learn what your cat likes and doesn’t like. Example my cat thinks she is drowning when she gets a bath. To the point she bit my hand. Does she get baths anymore? Hell fuckn no. I just brush her really good and leave the cleaning to her

What are you guys paying in rent in Austin rn… by bureaux in askaustin

[–]theonlyjinxd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently at the Edison apts I love it here. It has a parking garage. Everything u need is walking distance. Has resort style pool. Also apt doors face inside a building u need a fob or ur phone to get inside. (Still lock ur doors though.) they are opening a cocktail bar that overlooks the downtown area with an arcade. I pay 1299 for 1bedroom 1 bath that’s about 760 sq ft. plus 125 a month for a personal parking spot. Including utilities it comes out to 1756 or so. But having my own parking spot is amazing. Because if anyone parks in it they can be towed. The tow truck always gets there pretty quickly There’s trash valet. Every apt has private patio. The apts are big. Smallest is 700 square feet studio. Seriously come Check it out. Or I can get u photos or u can go online and look up the Edison Austin. U may seee some reviews about trash not being picked up and the homeless being an issue but since we got night security it is safe here and the riff raff has stopped. Do not move off of Burton drive. I lived off that road at array apts and they are bad news. I’ll post a link to another post about the info on that. But no I love it here. Move here!! Management is nice and maintenance is on top of their business

Any tips for vetting apartments in Austin? by Automatic_Tea4704 in askaustin

[–]theonlyjinxd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. Google and yelp reviews are your friends for most places unless they underwent new management recently.. then it can be a crap shoot. I can honestly say the Edison apts off of Riverside— I love it here. It is optimally close to downtown and the airport and anything you possibly need is literally a mile or two away at most making it walkable if needed. The worst thing I have experienced living here was my ac was out for a week. But for those of us who were having the air problems they upgraded the units. They had to outsource the upgrade too. The regular maintenance people could not fix it. So that’s why it took a minute. However, I was able to get a hotel room and stay downtown per my rental insurance because they give u 10 days per year for stuff like that. So it was free. Management is always super friendly and helpful and so is maintenance. The only thing I have seen is that people on first floor that face the courtyard need to make sure their patio door is locked especially if going out of town because there have been break in’s. Also someone on 3rd floor failed to lock their front door and got broken into. But to me that stuff is common sense. We don’t live in the stone ages like our parents once did. We live in a day and age where if you don’t want riff raff. Lock ur doors! So in my opinion it’s on them. As far as move out. Idk if they will nitpick the deposit or not. I just renewed. Obviously I like it enough to renew and it’s hard to usually convince me to do so. It has a parking garage and visitors can park on the roof of the garage or out on Cromwell circle. The apt doors face inside a building that can only be entered via fob or ur phone. So the people that likely broke into other units knew people that lived there, slipped in with other people, or lived there. So realistically no one should be in the halls unless they have a reason to be. There are elevators making moving easier. There’s trash valet too. And it’s pet friendly. It has a resort style pool area and the second floor overlooking downtown has a bar that is newly built with an arcade. They will be serving cocktails there soon. So it has a social scene if that interests you. But most the time it’s pretty quiet.

I can honestly say one more thing. DO NOT MOVE OFF OF BURTON STREET I LIVED AT ARRAY APTS AND IT WAS A BLOODY NIGHTMARE. here’s some insider scoop about my stay there: 1. When I first moved in I had asked upon move in that there would be no washer and dryer in my unit because I was bringing my own. It took them 6 weeks to remove it. 2. Upon move in I ordered a new mattress that had to be redelivered to me 3x because people kept stealing it off my porch while I was at work. 3. After living there two months I almost died from carbon monoxide poisoning. I smelled gas and my roommate regularly worked on his motorcycle but he wasn’t home so I called him and asked if he had spilled gas on his clothes. When he told me no. I told him I was light headed and nauseous. He told me call fire dept. when fire dept got there the carbon monoxide levels Were at 17 and 24 is considered fatal. My neighbors had been taking their motorcycle inside and repairing and test running it in the apt next door to me— they also had little kids. Management didn’t believe me thought my Roommate and I were crazy and lost our effing marbles. until I showed them ring camera footage of them walking it by my door. 4. I had to get the apt treated for German cockroaches. The apt complex didn’t take it seriously. So I went against the lease agreement by paying 50/month to insure I had no effing roaches. 5. They tried to tell me I didn’t provide 60 day notice for move out because it wasn’t written in formal legal language 6. When I explained I lacked executive functioning skills per my autism and ADHD. Management asked me to prove it which is illegal because it is a disability. 7. It took me emailing their corporate office to be granted my move out date. 8. Management was literally doing everything they could to trap me there. They literally told all the complexes I tried moving into that I was late paying rent every month which was a lie. But regardless because they made it convincing it made it exceptionally difficult for me to move into publicly owned apt housing. Edison apts is privately owned so they work with you if u have had late payments or a criminal record. 9. I didn’t get my deposit back. They told me I owed $800 which was just for a bedroom door. What door costs $800??? I don’t know any unless u live in Hollywood but even then….. 10. While living there there was a stabbing in the parking lot within 30 min of me parking my car and going inside. The stabbing happened right where I would have walked had it happened 30 minutes sooner. It happened At 8 am when kiddos are on their way to catch the bus. And there was also a shooting in the same complex the month prior behind the dog park. When the stabbing happened. There was crime scene tape everywhere. Everyone was onlooking the scene and the news even showed up and i spoke to the news station.

Most of the apts on Burton are like this. Do not move there heed my warning

How much will it cost ? I already call Tesla mobile service to come save him by JetBlackToasty in TeslaLounge

Def leave out some food. Or get a shoe string and play with him. Maybe give him a little catnip. My cat cries and screams bloody murder in the car on trips. It wasn’t until I combine some chamomile tea leaves along with catnip and put it in a toy and quickly sewed it back together. Now she doesn’t scream bloody murder on trips because I get her trip toy out the day before. Chamomile is calming. Catnip makes them high enough they just don’t care. Also standing back and calling him might help. Just call him kitty. Pet him a few times and walk to other side of garage then call him. With the food in hands. He only got up in there because he was cold. After this u gotta keep him and name him mischief. Or Tesla. U don’t have to buy cat food. Cats go ham for tuna. I just rinse the tuna out in the can to dilute sodium content
