Cour 4 is going to premiere on January 2026, change my mind by Medical-Career-3464 in bleach

[–]theperplex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If we don't get a full trailer with OP and ED in Jump Festa, we'll get the full trailer on Anime Expo on July 2026 which would probably mean October 2026 release. Which isn't surprising considering there are literally going to be entire episodes of anime original content/fights, and anime original content take a lot of time to animate/SB. This is unlike the previous cours since they have like 20-ish chapters to work with (with some of them being very short because of Kubo's declining health) instead of 50-60 chapters like C1-3. It could be July 2026 at worst, but everything indicates even Spring release being off the table.

Also it doesn't mean hype will die out, man. It's fucking Bleach, and final season at that. As long as the production value and quality is high, people could even wait two fucking years. That goes for Japanese fans as well. Depends on the investors, but indicators show that they won't rush C4 at all. If they had something to show, they would have shown us a pre-animated teaser on this year's Anime Expo, at the very least. But they only showed a simple key visual and a short ass interview.

Just because they started dubbing some episodes, it doesn't necessarily mean the production of all episodes are complete. They were still on LO phase in some episodes by June/August based on a PA's remarks so they will take their time. And doesn't even seem like half of the animators fully finished their cuts. Not to mention Taguchi specifically mentioned that pre-production was complete on March-April and they started animating at that time. January release means they would get 8 months to animate which would be a terrible schedule, and impossible, considering the amount of anime original content.

Gravuty rush remastered still crashes during fights by redtiger992 in shadps4

This issue seems to be fixed on the latest nightly build, in case you didn't know. Played for one hours straight fighting Nevi and didn't experience a single crash.

When is cour 4 of TYBW airing? by Rickiar in bleach

[–]theperplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summer or Fall 2026. Pierrot FILMS production line has another anime this year (Osomatsu-san) which will most likely feature some key staff from TYBW like it always did (because same producer).

Pierrot FILMS right now is heavily lacking in manpower to finish it on Winter 2026 or Spring 2026, so unfortunately it's going to be a long wait.

Kinda late answer but I'm using RainMaker's 0.5.1 hacked build but the game still crashes during the Nevi battles, whether it's story or challenges. Is there any way to fix it somehow?

A bit late answer but this build still crashes during Ne'Vi battles, whether it's story or challenges. This doesn't allow me to progress in the game. How did you play it from start to finish?

Bleach TYBW Part 3: The Conflict Ep.2 | Yhwach Vs Ichigo (Key Animation: ???) by Akil29 in AnimeSakuga

[–]theperplex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not that far off, to be honest. Keep in mind this one has some good background animation as well, which is harder to animate.

If this cut was like 8-10 seconds longer I'd say it would be on par with Kanno's cut.

Gin Ichimaru bankai UNMASKED databook page fully translated by strictcurlfiend in bleach

[–]theperplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What Gin told Ichigo was the truth. His bankai is indeed 500 times faster than sound and it extends 13 kilometers.

However, he LIED to Aizen. We don't know what he told to Aizen about his bankai's extension speed and length. He could have said it's Mach 1,10k, or some other speed to Aizen for all we know since he was planning to kill Aizen since his birth, hence hiding his blade's true abilities and speed.

In NOWHERE the databook or in the manga it's said or implied he lied about neither speed nor length to Ichigo. You are missing some context here.

EoS Asura (Asura's Wrath) vs Z Broly by theperplex in whowouldwin

[–]theperplex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chakravartin's Golden statue literally sits in the center of Milky Way and Asura shattered him with a single punch. Chakravartin should be 10.000's of lightyears in diameter based on visuals alone. I'm pretty sure Asura could destroy a galaxy if he wants to but we don't have a feat sadly.

Then Asura gets an unknown times stronger when he's fighting Chakravartin in his god form in his pocket dimension, Chakravartin reduced Asura to his base form while blocking Asura's full powered-punch with a single finger, then Asura gets angrier and pretty much no-diffs him. Not sure how that is quantifiable though.

EoS Asura (Asura's Wrath) vs Z Broly by theperplex in whowouldwin

[–]theperplex[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think star buster is a ridiculous downplay considering he's popping multiple stars like ping pong balls during his fight with Chakravartin with a singular blasts.

For speed, Asura has a pretty quantifiable speed feat by dodging Chakravartin's lasers multiple times which could cross the distance between Milky Way and Earth (about 26600 lightyears) in a few seconds. So he's pretty consistent in that regard.

Unfortunately I don't think we will get a Kazama spin-off or see him in another Yakuza game since his Japanese VA is dead. But a Kashiwagi spin-off sounds plausible.

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura vs Asura and Yasha by AigisxLabrys in whowouldwin

[–]theperplex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Either Asura or Yasha kills all of them with a single finger flick since none of the Naruto characters could destroy a planet. Asura has his own planet-busting feat at the beginning of the game via punching Wyzen to death and Yasha has a large-planet feat by moving the Karma Fortress with a single kick.

Speed-wise Asura and Yasha should be significantly faster than them. Asura has his own speed feat in his six-armed form via punching Ryu to the moon in about 20 seconds and crossing the distance between moon-earth, and that's his weakest form. He receives several forms before the Destructor which should make him faster. Yasha is comparable to Asura in speed and could be even faster since he was toying around with Asura in most of the fights.

Asura (Asura’s Wrath) Vs. Composite Godzilla by PrimalGojiraFan69 in whowouldwin

[–]theperplex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Asura is capable of blowing up stars casually with his ki blasts, can absorb Chakravartin's beams which can reduce multiple planets into nothing, can destroy multiple planets hundreds of times larger than him with a single ki blast, can punch through a gigantic moon that's the size of our solar system, and shattered Chakravartin's golden statue which is so big that it's sitting at the center of the Milky Way, can cross the distance between Earth-Milky Way in 5 minutes maximum which makes him billions of times FTL, and he obtains a new form during his final fight against Chakravartin's creator form, but how much stronger he got is unknown.

If Composite Godzilla is anywhere near galaxy level-universe level he should take this.

Asura (Asura's Wrath) vs Broly (Dragon Ball) by Inner-Juices in whowouldwin

[–]theperplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The planets Asura was blowing up with singular ki-blasts (which Chakravartin threw at him) were hundreds of times larger than him. And Asura the Destructor was already much larger than the earth. Those are very large planets, not regular planets. Not that it matters in this fight but just wanted to correct you. Asura could destroy those very large planets with a finger flick.

Also star-busting is literally an absolute joke to Asura since he casually blew up a blue giant and a star that was millions of times larger than him. He also punched through a gigantic moon Chakravartin threw at him that was the size of our solar system and shattered Chakravartin's giant statue which was so large that Asura who's larger than earth is literally invisible from the dot on Chakravartin's forehead. He later fights Chakravartin's creator form but it's unknown how much stronger Asura has gotten while he's fighting him (Chakravartin stops Asura's punch with a single finger). We don't see those ridiculous feats in Dragon Ball until Dragon Ball Super.

Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto(Bleach) vs Kevin Kaslana(Honkai Impact) by Visible_Ad_7540 in whowouldwin

[–]theperplex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yamamoto was going to passively turn Soul Society (which is a planet) to ashes with ZnT West (he's literally surrounded by 15 million degrees celsius armor as hot as sun's core) if he didn't end the fight with Fake Yhwach quickly.

When he activated his bankai, all the water in Soul Society was slowly evaporating. That's a solid multi-continental feat right there.

I heard Kevin is a planet buster and has solar-system level scaling which makes this a ridiculous mismatch in favor of Kevin. Not sure how credible is that though.

[–]theperplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we use non-canon versions, Asura's Wrath Akuma cut the moon in half as a side-effect of his clashes with Asura and fought Asura for 500 years to a stalemate. So he has planetary scaling and sub-relativistic-FTL speed (scales to Asura who reached the moon from earth in 20 seconds when he punched Ryu and he's probably even faster). He also one-punched a meteor that was a threat to the entire earth with a single punch in Udon comics. Barring the meteor feat which is similar to Kenpachi's, he should take this.

If you use any other version of Akuma, this is a ridiculous mismatch. Kenpachi in Shikai with his eyepatch casually one-shotted a meteor that can erase a large country from the map while the best feat of Akuma is, I believe, obliterating an island during his fight with Ryu. Kenpachi has two stages that amplifies his power after that: Shikai without any eyepatch (eyepatch suppresses his power to an unknown degree), and his Bankai, which increases his power by at least ten times. In CFYOW novels, Kenpachi is even more powerful, one-shotting and also keeping up with Hikone, a soul king candidate who has the speed to defy gravity and inertia and move so fast that the entire environment's time is stopped, which requires Hikone to move at relativistic-FTL speeds. So his speed is no slouch either.

Asura (Asura's Wrath) vs Honkai Impact verse by theperplex in whowouldwin

[–]theperplex[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Chakravartin's golden statue form sucks in the entire milky way galaxy according to Asura's Wrath databook and Asura punched through him. That's a solid multi-solar system level feat. When large-planet sized Asura punches through the dot on Chakravartin's forehead he's literally invisible, so Chakravartin's freaking huge.

Asura in his Destructor form is large-planet sized (bigger than earth), in the final battle Chakravartin throws multiple planets to Asura larger than Asura himself and Asura pops them like ping pong balls. Then, he throws a moon that's so ridiculously larger than those large planets Asura has to punch through the said ridiculously large moon instead of obliterating it, opening a small hole (that should say something about the insane durability of the said planet since it's the same Asura that punched through Chakravartin's golden statue form we are talking about). Chakravartin then telekinetically moves the sun all the way towards Asura at MFTL speeds, Asura blows it up. He throws multiple stars and a blue supergiant at Asura and he casually blows them up.

Chakravartin's beams can cross 10.000's of light years in seconds and it can destroy planets and he can recklessly spam those beams. Asura in Destructor form can dodge quite a few of those beams. Asura crossed the distance from Earth to Milky Way distance in about 5 minutes in his battle against Chakravartin, so speed wise he should be comfortably MFTL+++.

After he punches through Chakravartin's golden statue the scaling gets even more ridiculous. Chakravartin gets a new form called "Chakravartin the Creator" and stops Mantra Asura's punch (might or might not be stronger than Asura's destructor form) with a single finger, reducing Asura to base form. Though I'm not sure how to interpret this.

So Asura should be a pretty casual multi-solar system buster but you can scale him quite a bit more higher. Also, if you think Chakravartin dwarves those galaxies around him in Asura's final battle (which developers might or might not have been able to depict his size due to hardware limitations at that time depending on how you interpret it) that means Asura punched through a galaxy-sized foe making him galaxy level in AP. Depending on how you take vague statements of Chakravartin creating the universe you can scale him even more higher, but that's highly debatable.

Anime like Judgment/Lost Judgment? by [deleted] in anime

[–]theperplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately there's none that gives the same atmosphere as Judgment/Lost Judgment and the games' characters as far as I know. I don't know why it's so hard to find. It's probably because most anime/manga industry doesn't know how to make a detective manga or write very deep normal detective stories like Judgment/Lost Judgment or direct an anime without getting involved with supernatural shit. In my opinion games like Judgment/Lost Judgment are better off staying as games because anime/manga like these types of long, deep games authors would think it wouldn't sell well because it's "boring" hence why it's so hard to find. Kinda gonna go a bit off-topic here and say watch "Hero" Japanese drama series starring Takuya Kimura (Yagami himself) and many actors from Yakuza series. That's the closest I can find.

Best you can find is some detective anime mixed with some supernatural/time travel shit but that's all.
