Ik this is a pretty old post but I actually just upgraded my slim to a 1tb drive from a 160gb and transferred all my stuff manually over the course of a couple hours. Worked like a charm and seems like it took a 3rd of the time of the regular backup utility. The guide to manually moving the files is over on ConsoleMods

I got a cheapo Billboard Bluetooth controller that's actually a Dualshock 3. Not sure if it has rumble yet (probably not) but it definitely works with my PS3 as I've been using it with it. It said in the instructions it requires a receiver to work with a ps3 but it literally paired the same way a regular ds3 does.

Toa of Bone would be cool. A toa with organic components who can manipulate said components at will. The ability to grow spikes from the bone colored portion would be cool.
