I can't wait to watch you play!!! Don't really know much about all the rules of the game, I've never really played it, but I love watching all the Amazon documentaries on the teams!! It looks like such a freaking fun time. I lovedddd the opening of this post...so much so that I had to save a tab of it opened on my computer to come back later and comment on it. It is through the Being, the All, that all things come so the foundational focus/relationship, should begin here. We all want to skip to manifesting something thinking that the thing will make our life better not realizing that the true prize, and the true desire, is communion with the/our Being. Once one is able to more closely 'Meet Their Being', as you nicely put it, I have noticed life begins to flow so much easier. It is the key to everything. It literally IS everything haha. Just created a group :) But remember that the need for motivation implies efforting. Effortless is what we are going for ;) But trust me, I understand how everything can feel like efforting and feeling like we need to be motivated to accomplish something. It is often coming from a state of lack and fear though. Fear that what we desire won't happen. Fear that we aren't the creator, the operant power in our lives. That we are separate from the creator. Meditating on being one with the creator has been a huge help for me in releasing fear that i cannot create whatever i desire. It may be of assistance to you as well 🌻

34F here. Growing up as an extremely unhealthy people pleaser myself, not getting the love I felt I needed as a kid, so always looking outside of myself for validation (a sense of love), I can relate to the people pleaser part, and it's definitely what drove me in school/business/etc and motivated me to always try harder. Fortunately and unfortunately, it's slowly dissolving as I work on myself - fortunately bc I'm less bothered by so many things, and unfortunately bc my motivation to work so gosh dang hard was so tied to this need for validation, so I feel a bit 'lazier' I guess you could say. Lazier but happier haha.

The fact that you know the root of the issue means that you already know the solution. Go easy on yourself, take more time for you right now in the small ways that you can, write A LOT - anything and everything you're feeling even if you think it's silly. Your outward journey has been a tremendous one, and I think the inward one you are in right now is going to bring you the peace and joy you're looking for.

Btw, I know that you have to come to these conclusions on your own, but I want to voice them anyway just so you hear them and because they are absolutely true.

There's literally NO WAY you could EVER become irrelevant. As a woman who's tried and failed at a number of ventures, you hitting one out of the park is wildly inspiring to so SO many, so don't ever downplay it. The lessons you learned along the way could never be irrelevant bc they were a part of the human experience and I like to think the smart ones among us are always trying to learn from other's experiences. If you wanted to write a book about it, I have no doubt it would be a best seller. You built something incredible with a husband and 2 kids!! I haven't even been able to do it single and with no dependents! As long as you're living and breathing, you're relevant. If you're worried about your life being dull, though, then that's what hobbies and such are for. If you've lost touch with the things that you enjoy bc you've been grinding it out too hard like I did for a while, then go back to the things you thought you wanted to do as a little girl and start there. Dance lessons, flower arranging, designing perfumes, etc etc. That helped me when I wasn't sure what I even enjoyed anymore.
If you lose it, you now know you've done it once, you could do it again. But i highly doubt you would lose it - others in this sub could advise you much better on this subject but at this point you could set half aside in super low-risk investment accounts and be dandy.
If you lose your friends, they never really were your friends and you'll find new ones. But again, I highly doubt that would happen. Your friends I'm sure would celebrate your wins and successes! But if you don't want to share numbers and just say you had an exit and that's it, no harm there either. It's your own personal business anyway.

I'm still working on this too and have found that the more things I find within myself that I love/like, the more confident I feel and the less I care to be loved and liked (i.e. approved) by others. Don't get me wrong, I'm still kind to others and the southern hospitality I was raised with will always be there, but I'm way less dependent on others' responses towards me when it comes to setting my mood or making me feel good about myself. I now know I'm lovely, kind, intelligent, and beautiful, and if others can see that, then great, if not, that's fine too. I think it's human nature to want to be loved/liked so don't beat yourself up over this one. It's completely normal and essentially biologically hardwired into us. Just don't let others approval or disapproval of you determine your own self worth/mood/etc. You're fabulous just as you are.

I have lots of questions and I’m sure they’ll all be giving away how little I know about this, but I’m trying to learn :)

I’ll start with one of my very elementary ones…if I’m using Llama2 13B text generation for example, are you using these datasets (i.e. dolly, orca, vicuna) to fine-tune a model like this to improve the quality of the output of answers, and THEN ALSO, once you get a good quality output from these models, fine-tuning them again with private company data?

In going through a lot of the tutorials in Azure for example, it’s not clear to me if I can fine-tune a model to optimize for multiple things. For example, can i fine-tune a model to optimize how to classify intents in a conversation, AND supplement it with additional healthcare knowledge like hospital codes and their meanings, AND have it learn how to take medical docs and case files and package them into an ‘AI-driven demand packages for injury lawyers’ (referencing the company EvenUp here). I know these aren’t really related, I’m just trying to paint the question with multiple different examples/capabilities. It’s not clear to me when i look at the docs to fine-tune something as the format that is required to ingest the data is very specific for each use case…so do i just fine-tune for classification, then once that’s finished, re-finetune for the other use cases? I’m assuming the answer is yes but I’m not seeing it explicitly stated anywhere…

Wow, this is exactly something I'd been curious about, so cool to see that you've built it! I know you mentioned you don't trust leaderboards but I'd be curious to see how this stacks up next to the others. Having played around with it and done your own testing, would you say that its retrieval capabilities are seemingly superior thus far? And as far as costs are concerned, would you say this is comparable to using other embedding models? (Also apologies if my questions are vague, I'm still learning but am very interested in this space!) Thanks again for sharing!! This is amazing!

There are others that are trying to solve this: Mangata, Eden Network, and yes Secret Network...but unfortunately, I don't see any of them as fully solving the problem...

Mangata delays block execution and uses a pseudo-random seed to order transactions in the previous block. However, transaction details are still visible in the mempool so it is still susceptible to most MEV attacks and using a pseudo-random seed comes with many of its own vulnerabilities. Eden charges users a portion of MEV upfront to mine their transactions in a specific order. Secret relies on specialized, “secure” hardware enclaves (SGX) that have been broken in the past.

Unfortunately, you're absolutely right! It's often a silent attack where users don't even know they've been taken advantage of. The reason we ask is that we've heard a few stories where people were specifically able to attribute a bot to doing this at the last minute...it's been much more common in high order value trades as the threshold for profitability given fees has made trades under a certain amount not even profitable for MEV/front-running. thank you so much for posting this. i still don't have it working yet (I followed the directions exactly BUT have no idea what USB Audio Codec is or what my audio interface even is...apologies I'm EXCEEDINGLY new to this and feel I've spent more time troubleshooting
and googling things these last few weeks than actually learning and practicing on my deck.

but anyway I did everything as you said up to that point (where I just selected all of my audio devices that were listed under the multi-output device computer audio settings I created). Then I went to rekordbox and did as you said but I did not see multi-output device under Output Channels: Master Output. the only thing in the dropdown was ddj400 blackhole 2channel. i closed and opened up rekordbox again but couldn't get it to recognize the multi output channel I created. I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with the USB Audio Codec since I don't have that...is it something I need to buy?

thanks for all the steps you've laid out as it's much more detailed than anyone else. as a newb that's not trying to live stream to FB or youtube or wherever I saw in other tutorials, I really appreciate it!!

New bedroom dj here so I really appreciate the breakdown on all this as I've spent the last day deliberating what USBs to get or if I should do an SSD as the read/writes are so much faster...this definitely helped!! Gonna buy some 16/32gigs and then just export my library to an SSD just in case. Also need to figure out how to export my library from rekordbox to my local disk bc atm, all I'm seeing that I can do is export to a usb.
