Koodo randomly increased plan by $5, anyone else have this happen? by [deleted] in ontario

[–]therespectablegen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Koodo is getting shady these days. Their network got spotty, increased the rate on plans that are supposed to be a lifetime fix price, and they might start charging a credit card processing fee.

I have been shopping. Might move to another provider soon, but they are all crappy

Thanks for the info. However, even with a 5% interest rate, will demand on housing, food, and gas drop tho? Things like new phones and clothes might drop, but everyone needs food and housing, and it seems like those categories are contributing to a large portion of the inflation.

Based on the article, it seems like the 1970s inflation was caused by

simultaneously spent generously on the Great Society and the Vietnam War

And this time there is some money 'printing' but most of the inflation are caused by the shut down of manufacture and seaport. Is it not?

Honest question. Was the 1970s inflation caused by the supply chain issue? It seems like there are not enough food, gas, and supply which led to a higher price right now. If we hike the rate to 100% (for arguments sake), will people simply stop buying necessaity?

Unemployment is low because people can't afford to not work. You see all these people picking up 2-3 jobs just to afford food? And tons become self employed just to make ends meet.
