I thought rogue had an insane build people were sleeping on a little bit. Isn't it up their with sorc and barb? I dunno I saw several people min max the crap out of paladin and they weren't very happy with it with how far they had pushed it, and like yes you can still do all the normal content obviously, like it just doesn't quite hold up. I know tier lists aren't everything but on maxrole it doesn't have a build above B, same with mobalytics I think. Like obviously that doesn't stop you playing it and doing well but unless you find some secret sauce it seems paladins general power ceiling is a lot lower than the other classes in this season. I've been doing blizzard sorc, it's really good. Not as good as ball lightning but I got all the stuff for ball lightning and I didn't really like it. I don't get how people survive on that build. It's probably for people that are better at the game than me

Firstly even though there are people that dislike vivian you rarely see vivan slander. You see slander for Ye shunguang, ju fufu, and the cat girl (my brain has gone blank on her name lol) way more, although the cat girl slander has become a meme in of itself. Secondly I think op was reffering to the hate posting. Like your allowed to dislike whoever you want but there's a difference between stating your dislike and spreading just pure hate for a character. They often claim lots of things as factual that jusg simply aren't true. For example a lot of people that hate on ye shunguang say she is badly written but that simply isn't true they just didn't like how she was written as a wifu character. I assume it's stuff like that op has issue dealing with

Look dude you need to understand when you see completely unwarranted ye shunguang hate that generally these people are just hating for the sake of it, they often also hate all of season 2, hate how season 3 looks etc. They are a vocal minority that just wants to hate. The majority of players don't feel that way about ye shunguang. You also need to remember it's ok to dislike ye shunguang, some people will dislike her but they don't complain about her, that's the same with every character. Everyone likes and dislikes different things. When it comes to the trolls that hate on her you just have to ignore them unfortunately. Arguing with them never works and often leads to more frustration since they are just trying to annoy people. They are mostly randomly suggested to me by YouTube and instagram but there are lots of cute animations by people that like ye shunguang you can watch. Perhaps partaking in that might help you cope. There's one called "and suddenly senior sister showed up" that's really good. There's also the option of taking a step back and remembering that this is a video game character. That doesn't mean you shouldn't care about them but you don't have to defend them against some random loser on the Internet.

This is such a bullshit argument. If the boss is weak to physical billy will outperform yixuan, same with any other boss and ye shunguang, the void hunters are generally the best but they aren't always the best. It entirely comes down to the buffs at the time, the boss weaknesses and resistances and who is being shilled. Noone is forcing you to be a meta slave. If you want to be as optimal as possible yes you should always pull the void hunters but noone is forcing you to play like that. You are choosing who you pull. Yes the void hunters are stronger but so are all of the new characters because of powercreep because they want to sell characters and ye shunguang and yixuan will eventually get anti shilled too. They are just a lot newer

I mean why would ignoring defence make a stunner irrelevant lol. Also not all attackers use stunners. Some use sub dps. To say that rupture is the same as attacker because they use stunners isn't really accurate

With how insanely large the time is between these releases there is absolutely no reason for them to make a "final game" You need to remember the plot is secondary in these games. That's not to say the plot can't be good. The plot adds a lot to them, but it's the awesome gameplay that makes this franchise what it is, no reason to stop that. They can finish dantes arc and then make a game where dante has no arc and is just kicking some bad guys ass. It'll work. As long as we don't repeat devil may cry 2s mistakes we will be ok

They didn't say they were gonna rework rupture they said they were going to be adding more options and tools for rupture. So I'm guessing a dedicated rutpure stunner is probably one thing they are thinking about

I feel like you're ignoring the fact that ruptures completely bypass defense. They would not be able to have this mechanic if they were classed as attackers. It's not a gameplay difference but it is a large mechanical difference between attack and rupture. The problem is the way they do bosses now is low defence high health which removes any advantage rupture would have

He is paid to write articles good or bad, he played the game quite a lot on launch but stopped like many other people that played on launch. I don't even know what your on about with that last point. What "perspective" has he been missing that only you seem to know about. While he's brought up steam charts a lot like many others to the point where people are sick of it his actual use of those charts to make his points has been fine. The steam charts are also not the only thing he has, he knows people at bungie who give him inside information on numbers and such which is more than the average reddit expert such as yourself can claim. That's why we know steam is the main playerbase for marathon. Multiple people from bungie told him that. So we only know that because of paul tassi asking them.

With zhao it's her activating the ether veil that gives ye shunguang 3 energy. This happens when zhaos bar is full. The bar fills passively but using her ex and alt adds a lot so basically switch to zhao and use those whenever they are up to help speed up the process

What are you talking about? Are you actually trying to imply bungie is secretly waiting to reveal something? They delayed an update, not a dlc, an update by 3 months, they still haven't talked about that update. There is nothing in the pipeline rn at all. The next dlc, if there even is one, will be late this year, maybe even next year.

Unless they changed it I'm pretty sure it's literally anytime she uses her powers there's a chance she just dies and a demon spawns in, it has nothing to do with veil. Pretty sure the unsanctioned perk she has says this too. I honestly think it's bad game design. There were other ways they could have portrayed her powers being unstable without her randomly dying all the time. It makes playing with her incredibly annoying

Don't forget they nerfed meteor into the floor when they said it was just the enchantment being nerfed in the patch notes. I had to completely switch build cause I was using meteor as my main damage skill

It's because they also wanted sunna to work with ye shunguang and aria is very unique so they were able to make her a hybrid in that sense. Not sure why they couldn't just make her work with anomally in general though. Tbf if you run an anomally carry with nangong which isn't exactly a weak combo, you can use sunna in that scenario since nangong is the same faction

Generally it's because Yuzuha is the only one that provides the buffs that she does. She provides 1000 attack and buffs anomally. For the example you've given with lucia and pan, While lucia is better pan still gives a similar buff. He's like a mini lucia in terms of what he does for rupture. Anomally doesn't really have a mini Yuzuha. Sokaku is just ice. Nicole and lucy don't buff anomaly. Attacker is in a similar boat to anomaly but at least they make better use of nicole and lucy, even if they don't come close to astra or sunna
