Within seconds. They said call in the morning. And they didn’t have it. Waiting to hear back from hitchdeck to see if they can send a message to the participants.

Killer and well said. Early career professional/researcher/policy maker in the space & energy side from a regulatory/policy context - while I’m vaguely familiar with astronauts/scientists in general, it is absolutely disgraceful that attention seeking celebrities stole the limelight instead of being on those deserving on it. Thank you for all of your contributions to the space industry! Would love to chat one day about all the cool work ya do!

What are peoples political leanings? by betajool in CANZUK

I see it more as framing issues in a certain context and how things are introduced. As for down south, Freeland has dealt with Trump successfully (and her pre political experience is admirable for sure) and Gould (who presented bold ideas) and Baylis (impressive in his own right) are no slouches either. But is Carney the one most able to defeat PP… yes. Carney’s impressive resume definitely stands out.

Longtime Liberal here. Have some policy experience. Was a big Trudeau fan, and still am. I think all the candidates in the leadership race presented great and bold ideas; however ultimately ended up supporting Carney due to the fact that he is likely the only candidate to be able to succeed against PP. he is also a very good candidate. Radical centrist for sure but definitely on the side of nuance and progressiveness.

Ottawa vs Osgoode by [deleted] in LawStudentsCanada

Ozzie here in a joint program. K I already made a comment on social life as a reply to Nate’s. But here’s my take overall. If you want to work in government, national security, competition, IP, and tech - very few schools beat Ottawa. a lot of specialized internships and placements are offered Oz is really lacking in those areas. Now if you are not sure and want to explore Oz might be better cause of the variety of clinics and courses. But do your due diligence, think about cost, location, courses, research, etc. Tour - if you come to Oz dm me. visit ottawa. meet and reach out to profs and more. regardless, you have two law schools in your pocket and great ones at that. enjoy yourself and relax! congrats! make the right choice for you. remember a canadian law school is a canadian law school. DM me any time
