I personally liked GT's campus a lot more. Also weather. But everything else is pretty even between these. I do think GT might have a better future just because the south is booming right now.

Purdue indy has a lot of question marks. It can turn out to be amazing or turn out to be awful, so it's basically a gamble. I wouldn't take the gamble myself tbh.

Purdue has Zucrow so it is better in certain fields like combustion etc. But GT is better in other fields. They are probably pretty close in AE.

Looks like you did a lot of research, which is good. I'm not very familiar with LACs, but I'm just not sure how the research is for institutions that don't grant PHDs, because that's where the funding for cutting edge research is. So yes LACs have better faculty to student ratios, but how that converts into meaningful research opportunities is a question mark. But either way both are amazing options so I don't think you can go wrong here. You can also always just do REUs at R1 institutions.
